Dumah Elyon & Myra's Revenge
Silence / 15 / Taken Child / Shalbriri Pack / Lead Hunter / Bow & Arrow ; Knives
Myra \ Revenge \ "Yang" / 4 / Vargs of D.arkness / Delta Female / Shapeshifting ; Feral Mind ; Empathy
Myra had been shocked to hear the girl she had pinned to the forest floor speak in the language of the wolves. Her gaze snapped up when she heard a growl, which she found to be newly familiar, and at her alphess's words, she moved warily away from the Taken Girl, drawing her blade away. She noted how the girl instantly sat up and scooted back, away from Myra, baring her teeth and growling, low in her throat, although she still trembled. "You don't have humans in your pack," she said, staring at Myra, almost accusingly, who had lowered herself, still in human form, into a submissive stance, murmuring apologies in Lupine to Shadow Demon. Having heard the Taken's words, she lifted herself, only briefly, to shift back to her wolf form, before resuming her previous stance.
Silence tucked her knees against her chest, curling her arms around her legs, peering over her knees at Myra and Shadow Demon. "I couldn't sleep," she said to the alphess, "Well... I didn't... I didn't want to." She looked down, instead of looking at the wolves, she studied the skin on her knees distractedly. "Pyro came," she added, "But I couldn't speak to him. In village-tongue," the monochromatic wolf, who was laying on her back, throat bared submissively, corrected quietly, "English," but didn't speak again after that. Dumah continued, "It hurts to try," she said, shifting her position again, instead sitting on her legs, touching the fingers of one hand to her throat, almost as an afterthought. "I think he's upset with me," the Taken Girl said, and she could see the question in Myra's eyes -- the one asking if he was her human-mate -- and Silence narrowed her gaze at Myra, her lip curling in a silent snarl, before she relaxed her expression, looking back to Shadow Demon, dropping both of her hands into her lap.
Cassiel's Planets
Saturn \ Cass / 3 / Cassiel Pack / Scout / Aura Choking ; Dream Leaping ; Luminescence
Cassiel flicked his tail upon seeing the color of her aura change, and the wing that he didn't have draped over Tempest rustled against his side. "I mean, I understand why you want to fight it, and your reason is a good one, but it isn't a good idea, in my opinion, to. It would be easier to simply wait it out, and to lie low, in a sense."
Pyro Elyon
Pyro / 19 / Hunter / Bow & Arrow ; Knives ; Guns
Pyro almost laughed at James' curious expression, but he didn't, only smiling as he looked to his mother. He watched as she turned to set the fish on a towel, which he vaguely remembered seeing when they'd come in at first. The woman looked at Pyro, "You should have told me that we would have company," she said in a chiding tone, but it isn't at all unfriendly. Her gaze shifted back to James, as she took a few steps back, not wanting to seem as though she were crowding him. She could tell that he was uneasy. Pyro pulls a face, trying to remember the little Lupine he knew. When he figured the sentence he wanted to say, he spoke, "Her name is Ann, and she says 'hello,'" in the guttural tones of the wolf-language. Ann didn't seem at all fazed or offended that James hadn't understood her, a small, welcoming smile placed on her lips. She did speak Lupine, surprisingly, so she had understood when Pyro had spoken to James.
