it's been years since we got new moderators for mit, so it's about time! i received multiple mit moderator applications, and after a few days of deliberating i have selected two people who i believe are most well-suited for the job. without further ado, the new mods are:

Hollowflame turned to the famously silent she-cat, his eyes wide in surprise, but gratefulness, at her outburst. He hoped that the Clan was simply paranoid and wasn't actually considering Stormheart to be the murderer, but it helped to know that at least one cat agreed with him; and he gave her a short, hardly visible, but reassuring nod.

Willowstar had been watching the situation outsprawl in front of her... a murder? She couldnt believe a cat would ever do such a thing. The molly quickly gained control of herself though and she jumped onto the high rock so all cats could hear her "Decide who has done it, I'll figure out what to do with them soon enough" Her words came out cold, colder than she had wanted, but she couldnt just let her clan die...no. She'd decide what would happen, and when the time came the murder in Thunderclan would be banished...

Stormheart tried to relax after Skyheart defended her. It made her feel a little more at ease. Although, the sound of Willowstar's voice startled her, and she turned her head toward the high rock. The silver tabby shivered, her stomach feeling heavy and her paws aching. What would Willowstar do with a suspected murderer...? Banish them? Kill them? Stormheart didn't want to find out, but it seemed as though it was rather inevitable. She was heartbroken, fearful, and felt betrayed by some of her clanmates, but what could she do? She glanced at Skyheart, smiling at her gently, "Thank you Skyheart... Truly.." Stormheart affectionately nudged the shecat and looked over at Hollowflame. Her softly spoken words faded out into nothing more than the uneasy grinding sound of her teeth.

Turtlepaw paced anxiously; were the cats who were accusing Stormheart right? He didn’t want to exile an innocent clan member, but perhaps it was better than the threat of a potential murderer.

Hollowflame's fur brushed against both the she-cat's, and he felt like a small kit, trapped in a group sure to be killed by a badger. Even after his and Skyheart's protest, he could hear the passing around of his sister's name. Willowstar wasn't going to do anything terrible to her, was she?

Skyheart felt a tear drip down her cheek, she needed a hug from her siblings. She looked to her sister Willowstar and frowned, would her sister really banish an innocent cat? She turned to her brother and frowned too, he wasn't giving his kits any attention what so ever. She at least had Losteye and Onyxstorm. She looked at Hollowflame. "Why would they vote an innocent cat Hollowflame?" Skyheart felt her ears fold.

The tom followed her gaze up to Willowstar, a feeling of remorse washing over him when he realized that it was Skyheart's own sister who would be forced to deal with this. Quickly glancing at Stormheart, he sighed, "Paranoia. I'm sure we all feel it; like we have become the prey rather than the hunter." Hollowflame sat back on his haunches, attempting the most confident look he could muster, as inside, he was fighting a civil war. His own vote had been locked on Frostbelly, for reasons now that seemed miniscule at most; and he was Skyheart's brother. After what she'd just done for his sibling, it didn't seem fair to mark the blame on her's.

Skyheart let out a huff, she didn't want to have Stormheart exiled...She sat up and turned towards her brother, then narrowed her eyes. Frostbelly didn't seem like a good father to his kits, and he seemed...Strange. She turned to Hollowflame, let out a deep breath, and nodded.
