Cassiel's Planets
Saturn \ Cass / 3 / Cassiel Pack / Scout / Aura Choking ; Dream Leaping ; Luminescence
Saturn tilts his head slightly at her query, and then smiles, "It isn't, but I can see and smell your aura. It has a peculiar scent, sadness, almost like sawdust. Sweet, but dry." he tells her, not looking down from the sky, remaining laying beside the white-furred fae, listening to her as she spoke, and then responding. "I do understand, and I knew. From how Shadow left, he knew that he had upset you, but his aura looked both happy and sad -- which is incredibly difficult to read, mind you." he said, "He was glad you had accepted, I'm sure, but he was upset that he had upset you. He's incredibly good at hiding outward emotion, though." The golden wolf gave a shrug, the wing he had draped over Tempest shifting slightly at the movement.
Pyro Elyon
Pyro / 19 / Hunter / Bow & Arrow ; Knives ; Guns
Pyro glanced back at James, noticing that he looked a bit bashful, with the small smile and the way he stared at his feet as he spoke. The hunter moved his gaze ahead once more, as his mother's cabin came into view, and he stopped, turning to face James. "You've liked her for a long time," he repeated, dropping his arms back to his sides, giving a small nod. He saw the way James touched his lips, as an indication, and he gives another nod, but he doesn't speak, instead giving a smile to the other man. Turning again, he continued toward the cabin, and approached the kitchen door, which was also the "back door", opening it. He waved the other inside, and he called out, "Mum, come 'ere," and he heard footsteps on the floor from above, and then feet on the stairs.
Dumah Elyon
Silence / 15 / Taken Child / Shalbriri Pack / Lead Hunter / Bow & Arrow ; Knives
Dumah kept moving as she passed into the Vargs' territory, not stopping, although she did slow a little bit, to observe the surroundings. She wrapped her arms around her waist, gripping the deer leather of her top nervously, slowing down to a fast walk. The girl dipped her head, gazing toward the forest floor as she walked, although it was the floor ahead of her that she watched, not bothered to look around as she moved swiftly across the land. Her bare feet made next to no sound as she moved, carefully avoiding any dry leaves and sticks that could alert any others to her presence. She only released her grip on her top, as she needed to keep her balance, and spreading her hands out slightly to her sides helped her to.
The girl padded swiftly across the forest floor, bouncing up onto a log, and then landing quietly on the other side, continuing to move. Had no one noticed her come onto the territory? It seemed as though they hadn't, and Silence began to worry. Her gaze lifted swiftly as she heard a twig snap, although it was not from her, rather from off to the side. She looked over, and when she saw a pale-skinned girl with black eyes, wearing white furs, she froze. Had she known the girl was coming, she would not have, but the girl began to move forward, nearly as silent as Dumah, although not quite, as she was obviously not watching where she was stepping. Silence was very confused. Shadow Demon didn't have any Taken or Joined Children. Where did the white-furred girl come from?
Dumah couldn't go back to her own pack's lands, as she was too far into the Varg's territory, and this girl seemed to have come out of nowhere. She unfroze the moment the girl lunged at her, a blade outstretched, and she leaped back, a shriek torn from her throat. The girl, who she now noticed had both white and white hair, and was a bit more muscular than Dumah, crouched over her. It took that to make Dumah realize that she had fallen, and that she had no way to defend herself, as she had left her knife on her deerskin bed. Silence stared at the girl, who, in turn, studied her, the blade she bore pressed just above Silence's collarbone, a silent order for her to stay down. She did.
Finally, the strange young woman spoke, black gaze trained on the Taken Girl's face, "Why are you here, outsider?" The girl had spoken in English, obviously thinking that Dumah was one of the village's young women, but Dumah did not respond. Her lips were pressed together, and she stared up at the pale woman, trembling. "You aren't mute, girl, I heard your scream. Speak. Why. Are. You. Here?" The woman snarled, baring her teeth, continuing to speak English. Each of the woman's words was like a slap to the face, just as the man at the far-off village's had, except he had actually struck her. "P-please d-don't hurt m-me," she whispered, in Lupine, the sounds coming out in stutters, and she didn't stop trembling.
Dusk's Twilight
Dusk / 2 1\2 / Shalbriri Pack / Delta Female / Darkness ; Fire ; Spirit
Dusk woke as she heard paws approaching, and looked up to see Shadow disappear into his den. The delta stood, stretched, and turned to look into Dumah's den. That was when she froze. She couldn't tell the alpha that his daughter was missing again, especially because he seemed so torn already. So, instead, Dusk set out at a sprint, following the Taken's scent to the Varg borders. She crossed it, and then, she ran, in any direction, because she could not smell Dumah anymore.
