Splashingriver rushed over to the sinking she-cats and dove under; grabbing Echostar with his front paws and propelling up with his hind ones.

Silverwater looked back, climbing up to safety with the rest of her clanmates.

Boneclaw continued to climb through the hole.

As Echostar was pulled upwards, she took a deep breath of the fresh air. For a frightful moment, she had thought she would never feel the fresh, cool air EVER as again. She swam, with the lastburst of energy she could possibly muster. She heavily pulled herself and Shadowfeather onto the rock and . plopped Down for a moment. "Thank StarClan for you Splashingriver!" she panted.

Splashingriver gulped in air and then started to groom his mates wet fur. "I think Bramblestrike is checking the area. He should come out soon."

Shadowfeather resurfaced, accompanied by Tigerheather, both gulping down air frantically. The pair both paddled in the water, eventually getting closer to safety. He led her to the edge, and assisted the weakened and shocked She-cat in climbing throughout the hole, looking back he gave a curt nod to Splashingriver as thanks. Shadowfeather padded over to Boneclaw "Sorry, I um left you like that!" she said awkwardly "You ok?" she asked with sincere concern.

Echostar licked Splashingriver's shoulder. "As soon as he's finished, we can exit too." she hesitated, then lowered her voice. "Where are we going to live??" she whispered, feeling worried.

Splashingriver nodded and then replied, "We should wait until the water lowers a bit to send out a real search party. Otherwise we'll have to find a place in the dunes that's protected and dry."
