Deerleg could only watch in horror as Russentstar dragged his daughter's body from the dirtplavd into camp. The camp was heavy with grief and the warrior's heart ached with it. He hadn't known Sagehesrt very well, but that didn't matter. Something terrible had happened and there was a sneaking suspicion in Deerleg's mind that it wasn't an accident. His gaze wandered over the faces of his clanmates - cats he trusted with his life - his family. It pained him to start making accusations, but Sageheart needed to be avenged somehow. So he took a deep breath and stood, towering over most of the cats. "Russentstar, I know it isn't my place to say but I'm sure many of us are thinking it." He paused, swallowing nervously. "I think that Sageheart May have been killed by someone within the clan. She was too good a fighter to have been caught off-guard ."

mousebreeze awoke to the sound of screaming. Huh? What was happening? he thought, rushing to the nursery. he asked ravenwillow urgently.

Stormheart quietly shook her head, and after feeling Ebonyshade's presence, she returned the comforting gesture. There was no way such a strong clan member could go down so easily... Unless it were some kind of dog, but that was unlikely. It must have been another clan member. Although it pained her to think of such things, it was quite possible. The silver tabby looked toward Ebonyshade and meowed softly, "Ebonyshade... You don't think.. A clan member did this, do you..?" She croaked out with her delicate and anxious voice. Perhaps trusting her clanmates was easier said than done by this point, that is, if Sageheart was murdered by another cat. Even so, she just couldn't bring herself to accuse another cat just yet.

Ebonyshade bowed her head at the question. How could a cat turn on their Clan? "It's possible." She croaked, sadness washing over her again in a wave. She knew it was likely a fellow cat- There was no evidence of anything else. A dog would be too loud, and wouldn't have made such a quick kill. A badger was too clumsy, so that was out. A fox? Maybe, but unlikely. She ran every predator she could think of through her head, and yet came to the same conclusion she'd done earlier. Who did this, and why?

Onyxstorm watched her sister and Stormheart together, before watching Russetstar drag his daughter's body to center of camp. "I don't smell anything otjer then ThunderClan on her, so it's a good possibility, " she commented, settling down and thinking.
