"Um, sure," Hawksky said, shrugging, trying to act like it was no big deal, when really, his heart was beating a mile a minute.

Nightsplash spotted a new she-cat. "Hi," he mewed warmly. "My name is Nightsplash. Welcome to Dawnclan."

Mint crept out of the stump, and headed to where she knew she could find food. Not first quality, mind you, it was crow food.

flickerheart took the lead briskly.

"So, uh," Hawksky cleared his throat. "Wait, do you hear that?" He stopped and raised his head.

Mint finished the corner of the long dead rabbit she was nibbling on and mewed. She reatread back to her stump, accidentaly bumping into Hawksky.

Amberheart smiled and licked the two new kits. She looked at Rainwhisper. "What should we name them?" She asked.

"How about Fawnkit for the light brown one," Rainwhisper suggested. "And you can the grey one."

"Hello," Hawksky said with a smile, leaning down to look at the kit. "Flickerheart, look. A kit."

Mint jumped back in terror. "who are you?" she squeaked. flickerheart said "I'm Flickerheart and this is Hawksky. Now, why are you, little one, in the forest?"

Hawksky laid down, so he wouldn't look so big and scary. He purred.

Mint looked at Flickerheart. "Well... I was born somewhere warm, I think. And then it was cold. Then, I landed somewhere colder, here probably, not sure. I had to survive on my own from then on. And... yeah." Mint replied. Flickerheart shook her head.

"How old are you? Do you know?" Hawksky asked, rubbing the small kit with his warm fluffy tail.
