Flamepaw dropped the Marigold into the medicine den. "Good luck." He said as he dipped his head. Flamepaw turned and walked out of the den and crossed the clearing to the apprentices' den.

Jadeheart saw her apprentice coming. "Okay, let's go. It's a bit far from here, as you probably remember on your last trip. That's why we need traveling herbs." She said as she turned to leave. "Let's go." She said as she started walking through the forest.

(Sorry ~snowstorm ~ I got behind and am now catching up to everything!)
Adderpaw nodded and waved her tail at flamepaw smiling lightly at the tom. She looked back at her mentor and nodded expecting a long conversation about the importance of keeping her mind on her duty. Nothing. "So, umm how long will it take? To get to the moonstone?" She asked politely trying to make conversation.

"Not too long." Jadeheart said as they walked. "Depends on our pace." She added. "It's about a mile from here." She told the apprentice as she started climbing up-hill. I wonder what Starclan will say today. she thought as she looked up at the moon.

Adderpaw made a small nod as she ate a few traveling herbs since her stomach was growling lightly."good. I get sore paws very easily, remember last time?" She smiled lightly.

Adderpaw blinked "yeah! I guess they are just getting used to the journey!" She said trying to hide her new found fear of her mentor hearing of flamepaw. "Hey! Umm could we maybe talk? I need to tell you something before starclan does..." She said looking at her paws

Jadeheart's eyes widened. "Choose wisely.." She said. "The medicine code is what we pride ourselves on." She added. "Don't get distracted." She said, sympathy in her voice. "I know it will be hard, you can be friends with him, but you will never get to have a mate or kits as a medicine cat." She said.
