Talonkit Backed away from the hawk then dove into the water after OakKit. "I'll save you." She mewed pushing on the rock with her paws slipped down to the edge of it and pulled it off him. She picked him up by his scruff and carried him to the shore. She then leaped up the tree trying to get back and kill the hawk and looses her footing she sank in her claws but it didn't work she fell down and hit the ground one paw bending the others laying flat she sank her claws in the earth and let out a small yowl of pain. She crawled over to OakKit slowly. "O-OakKit? Are you Alright?" She stuttered.

"Yeah." He got up but instantly fell. He was missing a leg. But that's wasn't his biggest problem. He limped over to Tallonkit "Y-you?" He said. Trying to help her up

She shrugged and yowled. Her whole leg was broken. She sat back down. "I am not as bad as you though. We have to get at least you back to camp." She mewed then got up again limping. "Lean on me I have more support." She mewed as tears started to roll down her eyes.

"Talonkit I can't" His eyes also watering "I insist." He lifted her onto his back. He shuffled a little but managed to get moving. Lucky for them the hawk landed not far from camp

TalonKit wanted to get off of him but stayed there. She stuck her muzzle in his fur and started to cry. "You're always so nice to me.. I can't ever get to repay you.." She thinks and continues to cry hating herself for no good reason. "You're what I have when my brother isn't there for me.." She thinks again as other statements race through her mind about how good he is to her.

Oakkit looked at her "Your like my family, I have to keep you safe even if it means my life"

Talonkit nodded and looked up. "There's the camp. Let me get ScarletClaw.." She mewed then yowled, "ScarletClaw!!! Mom!!" She mewed but her mother didn't come. She shrugged.

"Scarlettclaw!" Oakkit yowled as he padded into camp.

TalonKit got off of OakKit and yowled, "ScarletClaw!"

ScarletClaw emerged and looked at the two kits, "My! What have you two done?!!?!" She partly hissed. "Where have you two been?!" She mewed and got out herbs.

"A hawk took me off camp grounds. Tallonkit tried to save me. Im sorry, it's my fault she's hurt." Oakkit hung his head "Truly am"
