"Yeah..." Wolfpaw said, a tad bit sadly as well, not hiding it too good now that another apprentice was showing it.
"Same here; I hope its one that's a good fighter, I can't hunt the best." Wolfpaw slightly joked, smiling as Viperpaw came over.
"Greetings! And I don't think I am, though I hope so." Secretly, Wolfpaw didn't wish to go; It would bring back 'those days'.

Viperpaw nodded. "Yeah, Eaglestar said we'd be going back to get herbs and see if there's any prey leftover that wasn't destroyed," she mewed with a flick of her tail. "Then we only one day to go back on the move. So we get to rest for one more day before we head out to find our new home." The words new home left a sour taste in her mouth however and Viperpaw didn't exactly like the way it'd sounded either. After all she'd just gotten used to her old one. "Only reason I'd like to go is because I need to stretch my legs," she mewed. 'And see how the place looks now...' she added silently.

Lightpaw looked over in the direction of the temporary camp, though she couldn't see anything over the tall grasses. She looked back at the others with a shrug. "I guess I'll go if Eaglestar wants me to." she said. Normally, she'd jump on the opportunity to go out on any sort of patrol, but she was getting tired. She'd been up early hunting, and had been on her paws ever since. She tried and failed to stifle a large yawn.

Wolfpaw sat down, both the other Apprentices evidentally affected too by the fire, as was everyone else.
"Honestly, though..." Wolfpaw meowed, lowering her tones, "I don't want to go. Nothing could ever prepare me for the wake of destrcution. I don't know about you two, but..." Wolfpaw straightened back up, hoping that might help alieve some tenseness, and silence of the thoughts.

Viperpaw noticed Lightpaw's tiredness was showing and she smirked lightly. Uncharacteristically there was a gleam of amusement in her eyes. "Are you alright Lightpaw? I've never seen you look tired before," she teased with playful bat to the she-cat's tail. "Most times you've got energy to burn." the tortoiseshell stated with a light flick of her tail. Listening to Wolfpaw though she nodded in understanding. "It's alright if you don't want to. Like I said, Eaglestar said if you want to. I'm pretty sure she's not expecting a lot of cats who're wanting to go," she mewed.

Lightpaw looked sympathetically at Wolfpaw and opened her mouth to say something before being distracted by Viperpaw's comment. "Hey, I've been running around since dawn!" she said defensively, though she had begun to smile again. "Hunting, collecting herbs...oh, did I tell you about that loner I ran into today?" she added, eyes brightening as she remembered.

Viperpaw smirked, but at Lightpaw's question she shook her head with a light frown. "You certainly didn't," she answered and then she looked over the she-cat worriedly for a moment. "They didn't attack you or anything did they?" she asked alarmed and her tail began to bristle slightly.

Wolfpaw smiled as her fellow Apprentice cheered up. "A loner? Really? What was it's name?" Wolfpaw eagerly asked. She had never ran into a loner before, or a rogue! Wolfpaw enjoyed being with her old Clanmates; or at least the ones of StoneClan.
