who's new name will now be Skywhisper." A mysterious cat called
out.

"Skywhisper! Skywhisper!" All the cats cheered.

"Even greater news! We will now need a medicine cat apprentice.
Cloverpaw, come here!"
Cloverpaw bounced around in excitement.
Cloverpaw didn't even wait for what the cat had to say,
she just cheered
"I do! I do!"

Breezefire was not a single medicine cat now. The killer's path
was now coming into place.

Well not for the killer.

But at the same time for the killer.

Breezefire was easy prey. The killer was already at the medicine
den, which was quite a convenience might they say.

Breezefire hissed.
The killer stopped. What was happening? Who was controlling them?

Skywhisper

The she-cat rose from her nest. She felt like something important happened the night before, but she wasn’t sure. She heard nothing, but cats came in and did what seemed like congratulating her.

That wasn’t a problem though.

The problem was the Breezefire was missing, and her scent was stale.

So, she went out, hoping that Cloverpaw would understand why she was gone, to find her mentor.

The young she-cat started to sleep and help out in the medicine den. She didn’t want to complain; help was always wanted in the medicine den, but it was interesting that she didn’t continue with her warrior apprenticeship duties.

Cloverpaw shifted around awkwardly in her sleep, hearing unsettling sounds from just outside her nest. Blinking her eyes open and rubbing away the dust, she saw Skywhisper's nest empty and her fresh scent filling the den. Turning her head the other way, she saw the she-cat padding out just outside of the den. "Good morning, Skywhisper," she yawned, partially forgetting that the newly-made full medicine cat couldn't hear her. Getting clumsily to her paws, she glanced around, scanning over their herb stores. She had just been appointed the medicine cat's apprentice, and because of this, she had already boasted about it to all her former denmates. "Do you know where Breezefire is? We were going to go over the basic herbs for wounds today."

Bramblestorm sat by the warriors' den, eating a plump trout. The morning sun was still struggling to peak out, given that clouds had filled the sky. The deputy focused her attention on her meal, waiting for more cats to wake and join her on a dawn patrol. She looked up, her thoughts disrupted by the sound of Cloverpaw. Bramblestorm watched the apprentice bounce around Skywhisper, and the she-cat twitched her whiskers in amusement. It appears Cloverpaw had momentarily forgotten that the older medicine cat was deaf. Bramblestorm covered up the remains of her trout and stood, arching her back and letting out a large and audible yawn. It was time to get the day going.
