Grim smiled. "I meant that I wanted pups, simple as that. I've always liked them, but I've never had any of my own." He looked up, watching the clouds pass by.

"Tell me the truth," Scarlet giggled. She nudged him softly, flicking her tail happily. Scarlet yawned, resting her head on Grim´s back.

Storm growled. "Arber, really! We need as many dogs as we can get. What would Grim say if he knew you were trying to chase away a potential ally?" She turned back to her work, her nose to the sky and her ears pointed forward at a sharp angle.

Grim looked confused. "That is the truth. I like pups, they haven't been corrupted by life yet." He stood up, stretching each leg and turning toward the camp. "Come on, I need to see if your paw feels better yet."

[Canair]

"Oh fine," Scarlet giggled and lifted her paw. She took her head off his back, looking at the bite mark. It still stung badly and she was still yelping in pain.

[Akpahsj]

Arber softened up. "I'm sorry, I don't get along good with other males. I would never talk to Grim that way though." He said, his head down and his shoulder high.

[Bluish]

Damin nodded. Stupid humans, he thought angrily. Damin walked over to a shady tree under the afternoon sun. He lay down to rest, crossing his paws and laying his head on them. Damin snarled at Arber, knowing that they would not get along well. I wonder why he's so upset, Damin though cautiously as he slowly drifted to sleep.

Grim leaned against Scarlet's shoulder, but only long enough to invite her to do that same, to use him as support. "Come on, we need to get you to a healer." He dawned the worried look again.

"That's because Grim would kill you if you did." Storm laughed, relaxing her stiff body. "Come on, we were told to hunt. We'll avoid rabbits, and only go for larger prey."

[Akpahsj]

"Ok. this time, I'll try not to kill myself." He said, laughing. He was still grouchy from the thought of not taking that deer down. He hid behind a bush, waiting for something to come and eat the plentiful leaves on the trees.

"Okay," She replied and rested against his shoulder. Scarlet smiled, starting to hop towards the camp, leaning against him.

Storm took a more direct approach, sniffing along the ground for the signs of prey. She found the prints of a small doe deer. She walked on, not bothering to see if Arber was following, and tracked down her prey. When she finally found it, she took it down swiftly, dragging it back to Arber. "Come on, I checked it for poison already."

Grim brought her to the camp, to his den, and laid her down gently. "Rest, heal up." He sat by her side, keeping his eyes peeled for the healer. He spotted, instead, a new dog. He got up, walking toward Damin. "Stay here, Scarlet." He stepped in front of the male, his eyes staring in all their dark red intensity. "Who are you?" He asked, voice deep.

"Okay. Do you need me to get anything else? or is one doe enough? I can smell another one close by." He said, sniffing the air.
