SunClan's Story [New Thread]

Eaglestar's eyes widened as the cat's voice echoed in her mind, his mouth motionless. "I...hello." replied the leader, blinking. "...it's alright. No need to apologize." she added, watching him curiously. She'd seen many things in the seasons she'd lived, but she'd never come across anything like this. After a moment, she smiled. "I'm Eaglestar. It's nice to meet you,...?" she trailed off, waiting for a name.

Wolfpaw's gaze drifted off again, a normal thing, before yawning and letting her fur fall as the Apprentice laid down on the rock she had been sitting on. An acute worry of who her new mentor might be struck her, but she hoped that the Clan Leader, despite she really didn't know him, would make a good choice. Not that the apprentice would complain, just it would be very helpful in the future.

Gingerpaw flicked her tail and it bumped shadowspaws tail she smiled "yea im gingerpaw, um do you think you wanna hunt with me later when it gets darked out?" She asks hopeing he'll say yes

Lightpaw stumbled into the small clearing surrounding the tree. She quickly regained her balance, looking around. Judging by the way cats were starting to disperse from where they'd been gathered under the tree, she'd missed Eaglestar's meeting. She probably shouldn't have gone out so far, she thought to herself, though she didn't really feel bad about it. She spotted some other apprentices and bounded over towards them with a grin.

Wolfpaw saw a familiar apprentice bound towards her.
"Lightpaw!" She meowed, standing up and smiling, racing towards the other She-Cat.

"Wolfpaw!" she grinned, skidding to a stop in front of her. Lightpaw was glad to have found someone she already knew; she had nothing against the cats from the other clans, but they didn't all feel the same way. "Did I miss anything interesting?" she asked, waving a tail towards where it looked like the meeting had just ended.

Also skidding to a stop, Wolfpaw slightly nodded, and shook her head at the same time.
"Somewhat; I just got a new mentor!" The She-Cat excitedly smiled. "Do you know who your mentor is?"

Viperpaw glanced upwards in time to see both Wolfpaw and Lightpaw together, as well as group of apprentices nearby. The tortoiseshell she-cat glanced at her leader to find the she-cat talking to Duskpaw and so the apprentice got to her paws and wandered over. "Hey Wolfpaw, hi Lightpaw," the normally gruff she-cat murmured with a light sigh. "Are either of you going on the patrol back to camp this evening?" she asked curiously.

-Can't post tonight. Got grounded from computer but on iPod. Sorry. Blame parents.-

{None of the apprentices actually have new mentors yet--I'm just figuring it out with everyone in advance, and Eaglestar's going to announce them all in a ceremony soon. Sorry if I didn't make that clear! ^^;

"We're getting new mentors?" Lightpaw smile faded slightly; she missed her old mentor, back in StoneClan...still, she couldn't bring him back. And it would be good to get back to training again. "I wonder who mine'll be?" she said, looking out over the warriors. Would it be a cat from StoneClan? Or someone from RainClan or FlameClan? She hoped they'd be nice. And, more importantly, a good teacher. She couldn't wait to become a warrior, but she knew she had a lot to learn before then. She looked over as Viperpaw approached. "Oh, hello!" she greeted her. She tilted her head slightly. "Wait, there's a patrol?"
