"no... its just a few scratches..." she said, blood dripped into her eyes "Hey! who turned out the light?!"

Brokenpaw watched her, still worried, "That's blood," he said.

"oh" she mewed. she blinked to get it out of her eyes

Rustpelt walked out of camp, and tasted the air. He found no prey-scent, so he went farther.

Rainstar nodded a dismissal, "I wish you luck for you and your kits, now and in the future."

Brokenpaw gave her a concerned look, "You- can't feel it?" he asked, shocked.

Brokenpaw watched her still, "Are you sure you're okay?" he asked.

Rainstar politely waited for them to leave.

Breezespirit stood up, guessing it was time to leave. He walked out of the den, and into the clearing.

Rustpelt tasted the air again, this time smelling a vole. He followed its scent and pounced, catching it and taking its life.

Rainstar nodded, "So you will be moving to the nursery soon?" he asked.

Snitch sighed, "I love the forest, I don't know if I could live without it.."

Snowy looked at rustpelt

Rustpelt woke from his empty dream. He looked up and saw Snowy, "G'morning," he said.
