Coalkit nodded and turned around padding out with a spring in his step although his tail still lashed, the sorce of his constant anger was his lack of social skills, he never knew what to say or do and that made him fustrated and angry,
"We are going to be apprentices at Dawn!" He told Huntingkit as he passed.

Goldenwattle flicked her ears in amusment,
"Choose well Blackstar. He's not going to be easy to mentor, behaviour wise anyway" She cautioned with a smile before taking Moonkit out of the den and bustling her off.

Huntinkit was estatic and instantly started practising made up battle moves, trying to imitate the moved he copied from Goldenwattle and Blackstar.

Blackstar- He thought about Silverstream mentoring Coalkit. She was a nice mentor, but she seemed more like Huntingkit. But Salmonstream would like an apprentice... His mind whirled, thoughts bustled and scurried around in his head

Huntingkit could hardly contain his exitement, he twisted around in a mimic of Goldenwattle.

Coalkit lay there with his eyes fixed on the place where Blackstar would make his announcment.

Goldenwattle went out of camp and retrieved her catches and padded back, putting them on the fresh kill pile and taking the bird for herself, she looked at Huntingkit with amusment,
"Use your tail for balance and strike out" She instructed as Huntingkit did as she asked, coming up with one of the fighting moves used. Goldenwattle nodded in approval and started eating the bird.

Moonkit went to Blackstar, "Blackstar, Coalkit said the idea was his to protect me at least I think that was his motive, but it was acctually mine, I am sorry I thought I could get to know him better" she mewed softly.

Silvermoon looked out of the nursery, "Moonkit!" she called. Moonkit turned from blackstar and ran to her mother

Coalkit narrowed his eyes when he saw Moonkit enter and leave Blackstar's den and flicked hit tail once or twice before settling his gaze back on the rock.

Moonkit blinked at Coalkit before curling by her mother, "four and a half moons" Silvermoon murmured licking her kits

Blackstar- He exited through the thick lichen of his den, standing on the edge of the HighRock. Bracing his paws on the rock, he mewed the same familer words, "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, join underneath the HighRock for a clan meeting!"
