The tom had gotten used to being called "kittypet". Many cats that live in the alley called him that and it bothered him at first. Maybe someday, I'll try living in the wild, He thought as he clambered over the fence.

The tom nodded obediently to his mentor and dashed off towards the fresh kill pile. Sighing at the sight of a rabbit, he pushed through the pile. I'm not exactly that hungry, He thought, his tail lashing in frustration. I guess I'll take that scrawny sparrow.Taking his kill to a corner in the camp, he sat down and plucked off the feathers, then sort of stared at the bird for a while, picking at it with his paws every few moments.

The cat paced around camp, itching to go sink her claws into some prey. It might just be a resting day for the clan, but I don't ever remember something like that happening.She thought. Rosepaw caught a nice plump vole and rabbit and caught a bird too.. it was a robin. She placed one for everybody and tried to catch a thrush but Daisyfrost had already caught something. rosepaw sat down ready to eat some prey
