Sleetpaw nodded, stalking forward slower. His tail flicked silently as his icy blue eyes scanned the area. The tom's mouth was open and then, the scent of mouse hit him. Grinning, he slowly walked forward. And in a brief second, he pounced it and bit into it. "I got it!" He purred to Duststorm, smiling wide.

The mother nodded to her mate. "He looks like my father," She said with a hint of regret. "The others are Wolfkit and Shadowkit, but of course, it just depends on how you want to run or clan. Do you want to do names like normal, or like a clan? Because of we do them like rogues we have Dusk, Wolf, and Shadow," She said.

The large tom grimaced. "I don't want us to be like ''clan'' cats. We're not the clan others think. We're not a Tribe either. We just call ourselves Nightclan. That's it," he meowed firmly. He looked down at Dusk and blinked. "Dusk, Wolf and Shadow. There. Sound's much better."

"Thank you, quack." Duckpond thanked Deathrage for his troubles, before nodding at Moonshade, feeling slightly more at ease. "Don't worry, you're just recovering. Getting your breathe back is a good thing." The medicine cat sighed in relief, although, he knew he wasn't out of the woods yet. He took some Marigolds and began to apply it to her wounds. "It won't help too much with the pain, but it will help some. Any better yet?" Duckpond stopped applying the plant and looked at Moonshade expectantly.

Moonshade hissed in the sharp stinging when she felt the marigold touch her raw skin. Her chest heaved, for she had held in her breath as he applied the medicine, and that seriously didn't help. She swallowed and whispered, "Well, I saw that coming.." She smiled a little, trying to brighten the mood; she was indicating the stinging of the herbs. "But ....I don't think I-I'll feel much ...of a difference yet, Duckpond." She flicked her tail and tried to turn around to lick her pelt, and attempt to groom it a little and clean the blood, but she growled once she tried for she couldn't turn around without her neck hurting. It was really sore from the suffocation. She sighed in disappointment and looked up at her medicine cat hopelessly. "One.. More thing.. My neck is really sore. A.. a cat tried to suffocate me. That... was-was from the lung thing.." was what she managed to bring up for words.

(( i've decided to put a "quote" or something by her in my posts now like a lot of you guys do. I think this fits Moonshade perfectly! They're actually the lyrics of one of my favourite songs.... xD Anyone guess what it is?? ))

His answer was predicted, but Hollowstar had asked anyway, "Of course. The two that were born dead were named after my father and uncle, so they have clan names," She spoke with love. If he didn't like it then he could suck it up and deal with it.

Claw nodded with a grunt. He decided it was best not to saying anything more. "Alright." He lay down and started grooming the sightless kits one by one. His pelt brushed Hollowstar's as they lay together and everytime a cat came over to him to speak, he waved them away with annoyance, wanting alone time with his new family for once.

Wiseheart could see and hear the commotion in the Medicine Den and decided it would be best to stay out for a little while. She sat down and looked at Tigerstripe, still offering her shoulder for him to lean on if need be. "I think we should wait until Duckpond is more available. He seems to be pretty crowded at the moment." she mewed, worry in her olive green eyes. Tigerstripe's scratches looked bad. What if they get infected or something? Wiseheart shook her head and smiled warmly. "Is there anything you would like me to do or get for you?" she asked, purring kindly.

The she-cat loved how every cat that came up was dismissed by her mate. It was odd how the two of them had both sworn to shun love and others cats as much as possible, yet at eachother's paws had become such a family. Many would say it was wrong, and others would point out how well they worked with eachother. Mates knew everything about the other, give or take a few little facts. For instance, Claw didn't know everything about his mate's past, like names and looks. She joined him in caressing the kits, figuring he had just picked Dusk for the next leader. Even though the kits were sightless, they opened their eyes at times. Each had different eyes, and some were shockingly gorgeous.

Tigerstripe was staring all around camp, taking every inch in. He blinked his clueless icy eyes at her and smiled a little. "No. I think I'm alright; it sounds like it's busy, too." He flicked his tail towards the den where an older tom had disappeared into; clearly the Medicine Cat tending to wounded warriors and whatnot. He blinked a couple more times and looked at Wiseheart straight on. "Thank you, Wiseheart. For everything- finding me, helping me, and treating me so well. It really means a lot," he murmured to her quietly. He sounded sincere and was obviously making it seem that he liked the pretty she-cat, but he knew very well his scheme was enfolding rapidly.
