Damin's blue eyes were fixed on the rabbit in front of him. His body was close to the ground, his limbs moving slowly. The rabbit was sitting in a bush, nibbling grass, completely unaware of its approaching death. Before the rabbit could react, Damin leaped forward and took the rabbit's neck in his jaws, killing it instantly. He straightened his body, and strolled back to the group. Damin held his head high, proud of his catch.

Arber woke up, hearing Scarlet yelp. He was completely healed, just for a few scars. He ran to the scene. "Gri..I mean Trip, What happened?" He hoped that Grim hadn't noticed his little mistake.

[Crystal_Tigryphon]

Grim spit the chewed pulp into the river, and sat down. His eyes were filled with worry, and he was staring at the bite in an odd way. "Please... please..." He mumbled to himself, his mind whirling with horrible possibilities. He had seen rabbits and squirrels, foxes and rats, who had been oddly aggressive. One bite was all it took, and the dogs would die just weeks later, months if they were unlucky. He looked up at Arber. "Nothing! Get back to the camp, and wake up Storm. We need fresh prey." He snarled, taking out his worry on the big male.

Arber ran to the camp. He looked around, finally spotting where Storm was. "Storm! wake up! we need fresh prey!" He said into her ear.

[Bluish]

Damin strolled through the forest, fresh prey in his mouth. Where should I put this? He wondered silently. Damin finally emerged from the forest, leaving small paw prints through the dirt. He walked over and dumped the rabbit carcass. Damin looked around and the dogs surrounding him, all the hustle and bustle of an all dog camp.

[Canair]

Scarlet winced, "O' it hurts." She flicked her tail, looking at the bite. She pulled herself forward slowly, dipping her muzzle into the water and taking a drink of water has she yelped softly in her throat.

[Crystal_Tigryphon]

Grim's voice became stiff again. "It will pass soon enough, the sting means that it's killing whatever was inside that rabbit's mouth." He grabbed the body, feeling lucky that his teeth hadn't pierced flesh. Those who ate the animals became ill as well. He dug a deep hole, burying the creature as far down as he could.

Storm awoke, her head swimming with remnants from the world of dreams. She stood. "Okay, I'm up." Her voice was drowsy and muffled, and her legs wobbled as she walked.

[Bluish]

Damin started to feel a little drowzy as he licked the rabbits blood from his lips. His eyes fluttered, open then closed, and his legs turned to jelly. Damin stared around the camp, looking for the forest. Whats happening? he though angrily. But before Damin could make his way over to the camp, he simply collapsed, a dust cloud flying up from underneath him.

Scarlet nodded, resting her head on Grim´s paw. She gulped softly, closing her eyes and wincing every minute or so. Scarlet soon settled down, falling asleep quietly, her breathing heavily. She opened one eye and asked, "When will I be better?"

Storm looked up, now fully awake as Damin collapsed. She ran toward him. "What's happened? What's wrong?" She barked out, loudly, trying to get his attention.

Grim laid down beside her. "Soon enough, soon enough." He licked her ear gently, staring into the trees, eyes keen for the signs of danger.
