Sharktooth saw a big plump vole. He instinctively dropped into the hunter's crouch. He stalked up to the big brown creature, making each movement as delicate as possible. When he was close enough, he leaped, soaring onto the vole's body. He bit at its neck with strong force, as it went limp. Its scent wafted around him, making his mouth water, he almost ate it, but stopped himself. Eating prey you first catch is agianst the warrior code. Queens and elders ate first, and Rainheart was first off a Queen. He scolded himself, picking up the brown vole and padding back to camp, hoping this would satisfy his mate.

Rainheart picked up Sharktooth's scent, she smiled.

Whitekit woke up, she mewed quietly.

[G a l a x i e s~]

Silverfur gathered her bundle of prey dragging it back to camp.

Sharktooth soon made it back to camp. He padded into the nursery, casting a loving glace at Rainheart and the kits. He dropped the vole at her paws. "I tried to find the plumpest one." He mewed, smiling.


Jaystar walked in. "Sorry I haven't come to see them yet! I've been sort of busy." She mewed. "New kits are a good omen to our Clan." Jaystar, purring, asked: "What have you named them?"

"Streamkit, Whitekit, and Gorsekit." Rainheart meowed, taking a bite out of the vole.

Jaystar dipped her head. "Perfect names. I'm sorry to be leaving so soon, but I must be off." With a flick of her tail, Jaystar padded to Darksky, discussing other matters.


Gorsekit mewled at his father, sneezing as his tail waved over his nose.



Sharktooth licked his little head. "You'll be a great fighter one day, Gorsekit." Sharktooth mewed. He then looked at Whitekit and Streamkit. "And you two are the most beautiful kits I've seen." He purred.

Rainheart smiled "They will be great, you are their father after all." she purred.

Whitekit mewed at her father.

"I'll see you later my kits." Sharktooth purred. "You too, Rainheart." He meowed, licking her cheek before padding out of the nursery.


Gorsekit wanted to play outside. He tried to get out of his mother's grip.

Rainheart purred and looked at Gorsekit, she loosened her tail around him.

Whitekit squirmed in the nest.

Gorsekit mewled happily, looking outside for the first time. It was weird. There were green things, tan things, gray things, even orange things! He got excited, smelling all the different smells, like cats, and prey, and dens, and leaves, and and- waste? Yuck! He focused on other smells, and other colors. It was so BIG!


Sharktooth saw Gorsekit and purred with amusement.
