She nodded, and didn't say a word. She didn't want to say something wrong, or make him uncomfortable.

Nightecho sat there quietly for a moment as he wrapped his tail tightly around himself as he looked into the water. He could hardly remember what his parents looked like, all he knew is that he looked like his father and his mother had amazing golden eyes. "That's all I remember...." He mumbled sadly to himself.
