Deathrage looked at Duckpond. "I'm not sure if anything is serious, there are a few deep bite marks though, they are on her leg and back, and maybe neck," Deathrage said, shuttering at the thought of the evil beast to actually trying to hurt her. Something crossed his mind, he hadn't seen Shadepelt in ages! But now was not the time.

Claw purred with pleasure and hardly acknowledged the other cats until Ember forced them away after Hollowstar moved them. He crouched, smiling evilly and inspected the kits. "They look strong. They'll be good fighters," he stated. He licked each of the toms, proud that his bloodline would live on. No way would he appoint another cat of no relativity to him to lead Nightclan when he couldn't anymore. He would appoint his eldest son. "Which was born first?" He sat down by his mate and licked her ear, feeling a smug, proud urge fluttering around inside. He was by her head, supporting her back as he sat tall.

The beautifully mysterious she-cat raised her head slowly from Deathrage's soft paws and mewed, "Um. There are a few-" she blinked and broke off abruptly. She started coughing again and shut her eyes in her slight agony. Her lung was definitely damaged from when the tom tried to suffocate her. She stopped, and took in a lot of deep, ragged breaths. Blood had trickled out of her mouth as she had her small fit but she hardly noticed for the burning sensation in her chest was really quite painful. "...My lung... left fo-fore leg... and ...back.." she stuttered softly, trying to catch her breath. She raised her ruffled, dark tail and pointed to the deep fang marks on her spine, indicating that was one of the worst of her injuries; it had brought the most blood. Her leg was pretty much ruined- fur nearly clawed and ripped ferociously. Her tired blue eyes were filled with anguish. "Wi-Will I ever.... be... fixed up, Duckpond.." she rasped desperately.

Spiderstar was worried about the same thing Applesong was. It took her so long to recover from the incident with Lightkit, and Flickerkit had made it even harder. "It will be alright," he assured her, half telling himself this as well. "Duckpond!" Spiderstar called with the strength Applesong didnt have, unaware of how busy the medicine cat was.

Wolfpelt stopped and waited for Hailstorm to catch up before leaving camp and heading for the river. With her leg and his old bones, the journey was a slow one, but it was nice to be breathing fresh air and not feel confined to once place. Wolfpelt had been free his whole life, and only joined the Clan for Phantomstar, Sparrowclaw, and the two grand-kits hed never met. That was one of the few stories he didnt like to tell.

Deathrage shook his head, 'Shh, you're going to be fine and strong, don't worry," He said in a hushed tone. I hope so, I love you, but he bit back the words, and scolded himself for that. Then he looked at her, the Duckpond, hearing Duckpond's name, he gasped a little in horror, were more injured? What could be possible more nerve racking? Duckpond was already buisy!

The she-cat picked up a brown tabby tom and set him down in front of her mate. "He was. I named him Duskkit. Look at his eyes, such a pretty blue," She said with a smile. Her eyes went up to her mate, watching him with pride. These were their flesh and blood. And they were all gorgeous.

Duckpond nodded absently, leaving a bit to gather different assortment of leaves that would be needed. "Positive attitude, young one. Keep thinking positively. Duckpond began to ease the pain and bleeding in the areas she told him of- fore leg, back, and lungs. He used a different assortment of items such as cobwebs, Horsetail, and Goldenrods to name the few. "Just hold on, I'm almost done..." Duckpond attempted to assure the cat as he continued to work, realizing that the wounds were a bit more difficult than he thought.

Then his name.

"QUACK! BUSY BUSY BUSY IN HERE! QUACK!" Duckpond hurried a bit more, checking over Moonshade's wounds to see what would be left to treat. "How do you feel, Moonshade? Any better? Still hurting?" Duckpond asked of Moonshade then turned to a random cat. "Check the situation outside for me. I'll be out soon." Duckpond ordered, not caring who it was.

Applesong

Applesong dug her claws into the soft earth as the pains grew worse. Her breathing suddenly becoming quick and panicky. Glad that her mate called the medicine cat. Though she wished Duckpond would come soon. Bringing the herbs and the stick. More importantly, the kits would have a better chance of survival with the tom looking over them.
