The Leader grabbed Aceso in his jaw and flung her down, then dig the same with Atlas. He bit down on both of them, snarling.

Karrie followed Teru. She picked her back up. "I'll go looking for Ink. You have to stay in the cave." she said, then picked up Chiyo as well, putting them in the cave.

Darkla came around the corner, scratched and bleeding. "Stay here, mother." she said. "i'll go look for Ink." she turned around and ran off.

Aceso stuck out her tongue *Phffffftttt!* she scratched the leader's eye with her back feet trying to pop his right eye out. Atlas struglled out of the Leaders grasp and ran back into the dip.

Yara snatched the pups back from the Leader, growling. He threw them into the cave/den thing behind him. He snarled at his enemy, slashing at his eyes. "I said, get away..."

"Wait, I'm going with you!" Yuki ran after Darkla quickly, easily catching up with her. She ran towards Athena's body and looked at it in horror, then looked over the edge of the cliff. "Oh my god..." She whispered, tears forming in her eyes. "Darkla? He's down there..."

Darkla looked at the body hanging off the branch sadly.

The Leader snarled and backed off.

Atlas and Aceso licked the blood off of each other whining and crying for Athena and wanting out of the hole.

A rat scuttled over to Athenas body and started nibbling her face. When Ink threw wher body, somehow it land right beside Apollo's the two dead lover were together again. Her head was resting on Apollo's shoulder. Rats started scurrying over and nibbling both of the Danes.

Yara nodded. "Thought so..." He raised his head, looking down at the Leader.

"I think he's still alive..." Yuki quietly said to Darkla, then looked for a way to get down to her nephew. She saw a path going through the trees that led to the bottom of the cliff and ran down it as fast as she could, and when she was at the bottom she ran to the log and jumped on top of it. She carefully took Ink off of the spike that had impaled him and set him down on the ground on a soft patch of grass, looking at him sadly...But when she saw his front leg move, she was certain he was still alive...

Darkla followed her down carefully. "We need to find Willow." she said.

"You go find her, I'll stay down here with Ink..." Yuki barked, looking down at her nephew. She sighed and lay down beside him, covering the wound in his back...
