Silverstar stood over her kits in pure fear, and fury. How dare StarClan do this during a gathering?! She looked over to her mate, pure fear in her eyes. " We’re not okay, Nightscar! The earth is shaking! " She spat out at him, raising her mew because there was a big crash, like a tree, coming from the direction of LeafClan territory, and what sounded like a giant rockslide, on StreamClan. Her mind raced to the High-Cliffs, and the Big tree shading over LeafClan camp. Oh, StarClan, no! Don’t let it be that! she silently wailed out, suddenly very glad no cats were unable to come. She tried to calm her kits as the earth continued shaking, but even more violent now.

Thornkit
Male, 2 Months. Tags : Dovetail, Spiderpaw, Treepaw

Thornkit hid under Dovetail, frozen. His mind raced to Spiderpaw, and Treepaw. " Spiderpaw! Treepaw! " he screeched out, worried about his siblings.

Dapplepool

Dapplepool stood frozen, unsure of what to do as the earth shook.

Foxtuft

Foxtuft looked around him for Dovetail. There She is! he thought, pelting over to her.

Smokekit his under his mother along with his siblings. He wanted to cry out like the rest of them, but he had to stay strong. " Calm down, guys! Panicking helps no warrior! " he barely managed to squeak out, seemingly calming his siblings the slightest

Silverstar licked Darkkit, only for her to fuss, and take a step from under her. Silverstar pushed Darkkit back in with her tail, and turned her attention to Wishkit. " No, dear. " Wishkit sighed, and backed out from under her, Silverstar reached over to grab her small kit, but a branch about the size of Nightscar landed near her. Silverstar silently hoped her kit wasn’t hurt, but her eyes widened as her small replica was wailing in pain, and trying to wriggle free.

Thornkit
Male, 2 Months. Tags : Dovetail, Spiderpaw, Treepaw

Thornkit hid under Dovetail, frozen. His mind raced to Spiderpaw, and Treepaw. " Spiderpaw! Treepaw! " he screeched out, worried about his siblings.

Smokekit watched in horror as his younger sister’s back legs were crushed by a giant rock.

Darkkit cried, "MAMA, WHAT'S GOING ON?!" She stumbled back and tried to scramble back to her mother. The earth shook again and she fell out of the nursery. She looked up to another cat, Treepaw. She got picked up but then, a branch came crashing down... Killing her?

Treepaw woke to the earth shaking, She looked over to the other apprentices. "Wha- huh?!" She rushed outside to see Darkkit on the ground, she rushed over to the small kitten and picked her up. She stumbled and tried to get the kit back to her mother. But then she looked up as a branch, bigger then a badger came crashing down onto her and the kitten in her jaws. The world went black and that was the end...

Well, Treepaw was sheltering Darkkit as Silverstar was helping Wishkit, and Treepaw, and Darkkit were crushed by a huge branch, killing them both instantly. ( But can I just say... RIP Treepaw, and Darkkit. My smol beans died too young ;-; )

Dovetail's eyes lit up as Foxtuft ran over the violently shaking earth, and pressed against his side briefly, showing her relief. At Thornkit's cry, she bent her head to comfort him. 'I'm sure they're okay, Thornkit. Just... Just stay close to the ground, me and Foxtuft will protect you.' Then, she raised her eyes to the sky, silently searching the darkening moon for answers.

Spiderpaw stumbled while running with the other apprentices and yowled when rocks began trembling to, and fell onto his back. He gritted his teeth, helped by two nearly-warriors, and began pushing the rocks off to get away. Thankfully the Talltree had already fallen, so there was no danger of that, but the trees around the clearing and the rocks and the earth were still shaking.

Silverstar looked at her deceased kit, and her mate’s apprentice’s remains. A tear slid down from her eye, and everything seemed to stop. " Greive over her later. Do not lose another one from a cause that can be prevented. " Silverstar whipped her head around to see a starry-pelted cat, Echowhisker. Mother? she thought. " It is, indeed me. " Echowhisker clarified, almost reading Silverstar’s mind. Her thoughts caught up to her. " Mother, the earth is shaking, and I belive btoh territories are ruined. What shall I do? " Silverstar asked. " Two Clans need become one to survive. " Echowhisker concluded. Time caught up, Nightscar was wailing over his dead kit’s remains, and Wishkit was crying out. " Nightscar! Come here right now! We will mourn her later. " she meowed. Darkkit would not want her death to cause her younger sister’s. As Nightscar padded over, she ushered her two sons under him, and hardly managed to push the Boulder off of her remaining daughter. Silverstar winced at the sight of her legs, but picked the kit up. The earth suddenly stopped shaking, and all the cats were beginning to calm down. Everything was well. But two thoughts linger on Silverstar’s mind, taunting and torturing her. But now she could leave two silent thoughts to the deceased, young cats.

Darkkit. My beloved eldest daughter. I am distraught to see you terminate your living career so early, and to start anew. I promise Echowhisker will raise you well. Watch over your siblings, and especially help your younger sister in such a time of need. Please, do not fret over your death, it was entirely my fault. I can hardly wait to see you again.

Treepaw. I never got to know you well, but my regards go to you in StarClan. I am terribly sorry about your tragic, short life. I hope you get to see your mother above, and enjoy your time, my dear.

She silently prayed, hoping the two young cats would hear her. Now, she was licking Wishkit, and begging her not to go to sleep, until Dapplepool said it was okay,

Thornkit looked at Dovetail, then Foxtuft, then back to Dovetail. " Is Foxtuft my new Dad? " he asked.

Dapplepool darted over to Silverstar, and her daughter, with the father and sons watching in horror.

Foxtuft stood shocked at the kit’s question, a small blush creeping over him. He looked at Dovetail in a desperate attempt for help.

Smokekit stood there, enraged at the situation. His little sister, his best friend, had died. That was the last time he’d see her. Ever. Period. He looked up at the stars. I wonder which one is Darkkit. he thought. He looked up at the stars above.

He had to let go of his sister, for now. He could lose his other one.
