There was pride in watching her Apprentice a sort of excitement, Yea, I taught her that, she gets it from me. Like a parent would think and say to someone in quiet conversation. Rabbitfoot was silent in her watching, like she was silent in everything, she nodded to her, the Apprentice was good at hunting now, there was only pride to be found here.

Thunderstorm glanced at the Warriors den and saw Jackdawflight with Larkpaw, he glared and went to sit vigil.

jackdawflight purred, whiskers twitching in amusement before turning and almost glaring back at thunderstorm, who seemed ready for the vigil. "guess i'd better go," the warrior mewed, starting off in the direction of thunderstorm, before turning and mewing a quick 'see you tomorrow!'.

That night, Willowstep tried her best to stay awake, with her muzzle pressed to the cold fur of Boulderclaw. Although they had not known one another in life, she felt as if she had killed him, simply by not intervening fast enough. So she stayed, the entire night, her sore shoulder cramping. A few hours before sunrise, she finally slipped into an exhausted sleep. When the sun began to rise, signalling the dawn of a new day, she quietly excused herself, wincing in pain as her shoulder screamed in protest.

Stretching her lithe, silver body, and giving a massive yawn, Willowstep looked around the camp, wondering if anyone was awake to go hunting with her.

{{Mochihiro, starting from page 60, Feathersong was fixing up the wounded cats, from the fight with the foxes. Both Wolfheart and Willowstep have wounded shoulders, and Boulderclaw died. Because of Jawkdawpaw's relationship with Larkpaw, Thunderpaw got mad and they fought. After they fought, Cosmicstar made Jackdawpaw and Thunderpaw warriors, their names becoming Thunderstorm and Jackdawflight. Thunderstorm and Echopaw have a thing, so do Jackdawflight and Larkpaw. Lostpaw and Greypaw snuck off into the woods, and Wolfheart is the new deputy. The cats just finished sitting vigil for Boulderclaw, and now Willowstep is preparing for a hunting patrol.
