Purpleflower jumps at the sound of a voice. She turns to see it was just Clifftail. "You scared me Clifftail!" she said with relief.

Foxtalon spotted Ripplestripe and Mapleshadow. "Hey!" He called out, quickening his pace. "Tidestar sent me to find you! Are you both okay?"

Mapleshadow hopped down onto a lower branch so she could greet Foxtalon. Maplestripe nodded quickly. "We're fine," She said quick;y. Has the clan gotten to higher ground? Was anyone hurt?" She asked, concern in her eyes. The water had risen quite high by now, almost touching the low hanging branch they were perched on.

Cornfur looked out into the horion, admiring the amazing view. "Wow." He said in awe. "What do you think is beyond the ocean?" He asked, looking at Salmonfall and then looking back out towards the water. "It can't go on forever, can it?"

Clifftail apologized quickly, "Sorry." He looked at her cautiously, trying to remember what Seabreeze told him to say. "I cannot become mates with you because Seabreeze likes you, and it would be unfair to him."

Salmonfall shrugged, "I'm not sure.. Twolegs probably." She shivered at t.he thought of the disgusting fur-less creatures. She'd only seen a glimpse of them in the summer when they swarmed the beach, but Salmonfall hadn't seen them anywhere else.

Herringpaw rolled his eyes, "So much for encouragement!" He ignored her chattiness before following Seabreeze up the tree.

Foxtalon nodded. "They're moving to higher ground now. Nobody is injured, to my knowledge." The Tom looked anxiously at the water below him. "We'd better hurry back. I can lead you two back."

[Cradily]

Ripplestripe had hopped down to stand beside Mapleshadow and greet Foxtalon. "Yes, please do so," he meowed in response, shaking water from a paw.

Beechpaw darted after him. "I'm trying to be optimistic," she shot back.

"Come on, you two!" Seabreeze called to them as he started making his way back to where Tidestar and the others were. Beechpaw quickly followed.

Purpleflower nods. "I understand." she said smiling.

Clifftail was slightly surprise she was smiling and asked, shocked, "Do you like Seabreeze as well?"

"I was trying to calm you!" Herringpaw snapped, following.
