Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Beyond the Stars (Open)

Midge looked intently at the shiny Wooloo. "You're a Shiny, aren't you?" He asked, though his voice was hushed. To his family, shinies were abominations, but only his siblings showed their hatred on the outside. Sure, his mother and father loved him, but couldn't they still shocked that their son was both a Mimikyu AND a shiny?

“Yeah, I-I-I think,” She said looking down at her coat. She just then got memories of her family and tried to hold back tears but it showed. Her eyes were full of tears and one rolled off her face.

Midge nudged his, um, "head" against Star's face. "Shhhh, please don't cry," He cooed softly. "I'm sorry for ever asking the question.".

“I’m so sorry,” She said. “I’m just getting bad memories.” She couldn’t stop thing about her family but stopped crying. She wanted to be helpful here and was obviously NOT helping. “ I can go...” She said.

Midge shook his head. "No, no, please don't," He said encouragingly. "You're special! I'm special... I don't want us special pokemon to get hurt.".

“You really-lly think I’m special?” She asked. It had been a year since she heard that phrase. She nudged the Pokémon and her head fell back. She gasped. “Oh no! She said.

Caelan let out a sigh of relief as Burner left, "Wow, that was intense. You're father's a lot more intimidating than he lets one."

"It's fine," Midge shrugged with his bag-filled hand. "I'm a lot shorter under this!". Midge joked it off, but he really didn't want Star to look under his cloak after he said that.

Star got very confused. Then she noticed the eyes and the black under the cloth. “What are you though and what’s your name, I’m Star.” She said.

"My name's Midge," Midge straightened himself up. "And I'm a Mimikyu, but I feel more like a Pikachu.".
