❝ Luckywish leapt to her paws, turning around to see Robincall. She sighed in relief. "O-oh I.. h-hey?" she meowed,
more in a questioning tone than a normal tone. She felt herself smile a little. Then she noticed Echosong approaching. She grew nervous, not usually involved in conversation.❞

Echosong looked up at Robincall with a soft, embarassed smile. She felt like she could stay standing there for hours and like she wanted to run off at the same time. Her heart beat faster around the tom, but she didn't want him to think she was some blushing apprentice unable to look where she was going. "Next time I will open my eyes before walking." she chuckled, her ears pinned back to her head nervously. She then turned her green gaze to Luckywish, "Good morning," Echosong meowed in a friendly tone.

Use them! she thought to herself. Finally she remembered what to say, "I-I uh, good m-morning!" she meowed quickly.❞

Silvermist stifled a giggle as she watched Sparrowfall tumble into the river. He stomped out of the water, drenched. She smiled then walked over to him and gave his fur a few thorough licks. She had almost forgotten that his apprentice stood by her side. Silvermist was suddenly too lulled by his presence, captivated by the way the sun glinted off his eyes. Then, as the moment passed, she gave herself a shake. "Are you alright?" She asked, politely, "The water must be freezing!" She exclaimed, gazing back to the river!
Silvermist nudged Silverpaw, smirking playfully! They wouldn't let him off this one so easily!

Robincall

Robincall glanced between the two she-cats, he couldn't decided where to look. Eventually, his emerald green eyes found the familiar ground. He chuckled as Echosong spoke. "Yeah, er I better.." He stumbled on the words, "I should go hunting." He shook his head and hastily nodded goodbye to both of them. A smile played at the corners of his mouth as he brushed Luckywish's pelt on the way. What am I thinking? He thought, What's going on with me? Robincall gradually built up into a run as he sped out of camp, stretching his legs and warming himself up, trying to focus on the hunt.

Echosong nodded and watched Robincall head off. She was also headed into the forest for a hunt, but she decided not to mention it and let the tom have his space. If he had wanted company, he would have asked. So instead, she just smiled warmly at Luckywish, "I'm off to do something that doesn't involve knocking into other cats." she joked. "See you later." Echosong meowed before turning and trotting out of camp after Robincall, but not following him.

❝ Luckywish eyes widened as he brushed against her pelt. She felt herself growing hot under her fur. She had to snap back to reality as Echosong meowed a goodbye. She mumbled, "Bye." that was just lightly audible. Oh goodness, I have to tell Cursedecho everything! She thought, a small smile upon her face.❞

Echosong breathed in the fresh air, tasting it for any prey. Catching the distinctive scent of a rabbit, she slowed down her pace and lowered herself to the ground, stalking the creature as it nibbled on the grass unawares, a few tail-lengths fron the grey she-cat. But instead of being fully focused on her prey, Echosong’s mind was on a certain tom, and before she knew it, a dry leaf crunched under her paw. The rabbit instantly bolted and with a growl, Echosong darted after it. For a few moments, she was gaining on the fleeing animal, but just before she could pounce, the rabbit dove down a hole into its burrow. She skidded to a halt, her ears burning. She could have kicked herself. What am I doing?

Robincall trotted over the hill. He lifted his muzzle to the sky and sniffed. The smell of rabbit lingered in the air. He dropped beneath the heather, letting his pelt blend into the surroundings. In front of him a white nose appeared from over the hill, followed by a head then a body then a tail. The rabbit perched upright smelling the air like he had. He shifted from paw to paw then flung himself forward, using his hind legs to propel him towards his prey. In a few seconds the rabbit fell limp in his jaws and Robincall stood trumphantly on the crest of the hill.
As he wandered back to camp with a few other pieces of prey he let his thought take over. Maybe I should’ve asked if Echosong wanted to hunt or if Luckywish was going on patrol, he thought. He was suddenly perplexed as he had been before. He couldn’t concentrate.

Or either it was a coincidence or intentional. She shook her head, there are more important things to wonder about. She stood up, and stretched, deciding she had been sitting for too long. Her legs were stiff, so she felt like a stretch would fix that.❞

Echosong returned to her hunt, making a mental note not to think about anything other than the task at hand. Soon, she caught another rabbit and a mouse and decided to head back to camp, even if it meant possibly facing Robincall, who seemed to have quite a lot of interest in Luckywish. It doesn't matter. she thought to herself. Echosong padded into camp, smiling in greeting at the cats she passed before dropping her prey off at the fresh-kill pile.
