Oceanpaw's eyes went wide as she tried to contain her excitement. Her blue eyes sparkling happily she nodded to excited to speak as she bumped noses with the medicine cat. SHE was going to be a medicine cat! her whole body trembled with excitement

He allowed a small smile to appear on his face before he bumped noses with his new apprentice. If he was being completely honest, he had no idea he would be so excited about the opportunity that he was given. He then sat down next to his apprentice, looking attentively back up at their leader--he assumed there would be one more change in rank that night.

The clan leader nodded approvingly at the new Medicine Cat's before looking back at the rest of his clanmates "While the new apprentices are very important and we welcome them as full apprentices of Marshclan, we have more an even more important ceremony. Today is the day I appoint a new deputy" He looked over his clanmates, Pride in his gaze as he looked at the next deputy of Marshclan before looking up at the sky,
where the star's would be once the night returned "I say these words before the spirits of both Rainstar and Ravensong, that our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of Marshclan will be Smokeycloud!""

Quietheart purred softly as she turned to look at their new deputy. Smokeycloud was a wonderful choice and so the she-cat supported it fully and she hoped everyone else agreed as well. Frankly she was proud of the older warrior even if she didn't know him personally.

(Tbh I am glad Quietheart didn't make deputy *big sigh of relief*)

He was about to respond to the queen next to her until he heard Thornclaw's voice ring out in the camp once more. He shot a quick, nervous glance at Lilyspot, but kept a smile firm on his face. He stood up and padded closer to the front of the clan. "Thank you, Thornstar--it would be my honor. My only hope is that I could live up to your and Ravensong's legacies," he proclaimed with a slight bow (do cats even bow? Adding that to my list of things to google).

The tom looked down at his apprentice, excited to start training her. He knew it would be a long and hard apprenticeship, but it was always worth it in the end. "You know, my next trip to the Starpools is coming soon--the clan medicine cat and their apprentice takes a trip there every half-moon," he noted, trying to impress Oceanpaw. "During your first trip, we get to make your apprenticeship official, since this was more of a formality... I had a feeling this trip would be special. I plan to teach you a bit about that, first; then, we can start in on herbs tomorrow."

It seemed as though things were changing every day for the she-cat, even if they didn't seem to directly relate to her. First the new leader, then the new apprentices. She was happy for the clan that they were getting more apprentices, but that also meant it put more of a strain on the warriors.
