Foxfang smiled as he watched the Apprenticeship, eyes bright. "Who do you think her mentor will be?..." The Tom whispered quietly to his mate, wrapping his long ginger tail around her. He turned to look at her with his bright green eyes, and he frowned softly as he saw her expression. "Ryemouse... Are you alright?"

Tawnyshadow scoffed and rolled her eyes at her mate. "Fine, you are beautiful. Happy now?" She raised an eyebrow and watched him closely, a large smirk on her face. When he said he loved her, a bright red blush dusted her cheeks and she smiled softly. "I love you too... You'll be the best Father any kit could have, and your already the best mate..." TAWNYSHADOW nuzzled him and purred loudly, a dumb grin plastered to her face.

She raised her head, her voice coming out raspy. "Shadowkit, please step forward." Fallenstar looked down at the clan before jumping down from her branch, and grunting as she hit the ground on wobbly legs. The leader took a few steps forward and sat down, wrapping her tail nearly around her paws.

"You're already the best mate." Owlcall purred, nuzzing Tawnyshadow back. He licked her cheek before resting his head on her back. "We should get to sleep so that we are well rested and keep on going tomorrow." The brown tabby mewed to his mate, shifting a little to look up at her.

Ryemouse snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Foxfang say her name. The pale warrior shook her head and smiled slightly. "I'm fine, dear." She mewed before returning her attention of Fallenstar and Shadowkit. "I don't know, maybe Toadpelt or Eaglewing. They'd both be good mentors."

Stoatfur went through his den, checking on his patients before putting away the rest of the herbs that he had gathered earlier that morning. Once the medicine cat was finished, he ducked into the back of the den and curled up in his nest, tucking his nose under his tail.

Briar caught a few mice and left them in a pile by the traveling group so that the ones who couldn't hunt for themselves had something to eat. She trotted across the barn floor and carefully clambered up the wooden ladder that lead up to the barn loft. The young she-cat looked back down at the traveling cats before going to her nest and curling up in it.

"Shadowkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Shadowpaw." Fallenstar's gaze swept the cons once more, landing on Eaglewing. "Your mentor will be Eaglewing. I hope Eaglewing will pass down all he knows on to you."

He nodded and smiled. "Oh, alright, and yeah those two would make great mentors." His happy expression fell though as thoughts of his own apprentice, Cometpaw, came to mind. "I miss Cometpaw..." He sighed, dipping his head.

She giggled and rolled of him, so she was laying on her back next to him. "Sleep?... Ewww..." Tawnyshadow prodded him in the side and rolled around like an excited kit, a bubbly laugh in her throat as she through a bunch of hay on top of herself.

Owlcall's whiskers twitched in amusement as he pushed himself to his paws and helped Tawnyshadow get the hay off of her. "You were exhausted a little while ago." He mewed, flicking her with his tail. "Go to sleep, Tawnyshadow." The brown tabby purred.

"You're keeping everyone else up." Owlcall mewed after he realized a few other of the cats were glaring at them.

She winced and sat down. Where was Sundusk? Back home... She thought, badly wanting a warm nest and a Sundusk to cuddle. She looked back in the barn and flinched when she saw three young cats staring at her. She looked away and stood up, padding off to find prey.

Aquafeather sighed softly as she listened to Sunsetkit as she licked her kit's pelt in a comforting way. She hated seeing her kit this way. Looking away when the calico kit had fallen asleep, Aquafeather went back to eating her squirrel. Eating it, the silver queen suddenly felt her paws tingle in pain, causing the she-cat to clutch her teeth together as she she groaned a bit.

After eating almost half a mouse, Sunsetkit cried into her mother's fur. It hurt to swallow and her chest still hurt too. She coughed a bit before letting her blind eyes close as she whimpered, just wanting to fall back asleep and forget all this pain. She just wanted things to get better or be how they used to be.
