Lusa spoke for the first time that day. "I'd like to be part of the search party," she said. "I have a good nose, and I believe that I could really help out." She decided not to mention the fact that she would be driven crazy if she had to wait inside camp all day.

Midnight's ears twitched forwards for Lusa's attention, "Great!" he said, "Lusa, see if you can find others to join that aren't here at the moment." At least the good thing was that the sun still hadn't risen to its highest point. 'We still have enough time,' he thought, 'Keep positive!'

Taking her eyes off of her prey, Roya rushed back to camp. "I'd like to be in the search party also. I have a great nose, also," she said nodding toward Lusa. Saddend by the dissappearance of the pups, Roya's ears were slightly drooping.

[[Basically everyone was hunting until my character, Sura, found the pups missing after she went to get a drink.]]

I will stay here to see if the pups come back. Sura said. She would rather be searching for them, but everyone else probably would, too. They needed someone here to watch for the pups. If you find them, howl and bring them back to my cave. If we can't find them by nightfall, all is lost. Sura shuddered at the thought of the pups out there in the darkness. Her ears drooped. What if it was my fault? Sura thought. What if all this happened. . . because of me?

Nodding quickly, Roya galloped to Sura's den and scented the pups. Picking up a particularly strong trail, she took off, her nose to the ground. It smelled like she had the scent of a large male pup.
