With almost all the to-be's being taken for training, there was less of a chance he would be needed to keep an eye out. Sage's ear twitched after realizing Thyme was still speaking to Petal, and he instead set himself down just outside in the cave entrance. Laying to one side so there was easily still room to enter and exit, the tom's tail tip flicked back and forth idly as he watched the surroundings. Less actual guarding and more simply wasting time while looking as if he were doing something productive.

"I've simply legitimately never thought about it, Petal." Thyme chuckled softly in response. "I'm quiet and my brother is horribly abrasive, I honestly don't think the thought that a she-cat would even be interested in me ever crossed my mind." He noted, shifting slightly where he was sitting. Nor did he ever thing he'd be questioned about it. Not that it was an uncomfortable subject, just not one he'd ever assumed would be brought up.

Lily is eating a fish from the fresh-kill pile the hunters recently caught, savoring the delicious taste. She scans around the clearing, wondering who was up and about this morning. She hopes some cave-guards and other hunters are up so they can go hunting.

Bee's eyes glinted with determination when Talon mentioned that she should try catching the hare. The young to-be hadn't caught much on her own; just the occasional mouse or small bird that she came across every once in a while. She shot Mist a playful look. "I'll get to it first." She teased, flicking her tail towards her.

Bee hurried past Mist, hopping down onto a rock below them, scenting the air again to try and find where the hare is. "It's down in the valley..." She thought, quickly descending down the ragged rocks.


Bear got up from his nest, stretching his legs out before shaking out his pelt. He licked his paw and drew it over his ear before looking around, stopping when he noticed Lily. "Do you need a guard?" He mewed, padding over to her.

Hiss sighed slightly, a tiny bit disappointed. "Stop scenting, use your eyes, Moss." He mewed, flicking his tail irritably.


Sunteller craned her head to look over at what Mouse was asking about. "Those are dock leaves. They can be used to help with scratches and help soothe sore pads. I can't find them easily in the mountains, I have to go down into one of the valleys or just outside the mountains to find them. I usually go through them a lot since the prey-hunters and guards have to climb the rocks all the time."

Lily heard pawsteps and turns around to see Bear padding towards her. She listens to what he asked and nods. "That would be nice!" she said. "Thank you Bear."

Bear smiled, dipping his head slightly to the she-cat. "You're welcome." He mewed, his tail sweeping back and forth as they stood there. "Where do you want to head out to?" He mewed, his gaze shifting towards the other cats that were still inside the cave before returning to Lily.

Fox awoke from her nap on a low hanging branch away from the others where she had the view of a tiny frozen brook as she stretched out her long legs and began to clean her fur of the tiny pine needles stuck in her thick pelt. It didn't take long for her to finish as she heard voices inside the cave and padded over "good morning who ever is talking loudly this morning" Fox hissed harshly.

Horizon looked up when she heard Fox, feeling a little embarrassed that she had been loud. "I'm sorry." The kit-mother mewed. "I was just talking with one of the elder's about Mouse being made the healer to-be." She mewed, feeling pride swell in her chest for her daughter, only for it to disappear when she remembered her mate, Light wasn't alive to see Mouse become a to-be.

Lily thinks for a minute before answering Bear's question. "How about the river?" she suggested. "I feel like Im up for fishing at the moment. I might go search for bird eggs later, but I will think about that."

Bear nodded, touching his tail to Lily's shoulder before leading her out of the cave, scenting the air to see if there was any danger nearby before picking his way down the side of the rock wall to the valley that was below the cave. He paused half way down, looking up at Lily to make sure she was getting down alright before looking around, pausing when he saw Bee jumping down into the valley with Mist, their mentors, Talon and Frog not far behind.

"oh it's alright if it was you, I thought you were one of those to-be's I told to be quiet every single morning and I feel mouse will become an phenomenal healer before long" Fox smiled at the kit mother " she might even become better than sunteller" the ginger swirled she-cat joked as she checked to make sure sunteller wasn't near by "it is quite boring today I may not be hunter but im going to hunt..." Fox paused and looked back to horizon "any thing you want in particular this morning horizon?" she asked kindly.
