yeah, like maybe once they finish he could ask to do some hunting and run off and lead the cubs there when the patrol meets the fox mom.

Again, Swanflight simply nodded. Though whenever she was with her Clan members she could be one of the nicest cats you could meet, when it came to outsiders like rogues and kittypets, she never the friendliest. She definitely wasn't one that you would want to cross one on one since she was fiercely protective of her Clan and those in it. The last thing she needed was both a fox and a strange feline to deal with. "Still though let's try to mark the north border as best we can to try to prevent them from trying to come in." She instructed as she brushed against a large fern, leaving her scent behind on it's leaves.

A loud, thundering noise signaled that the patrol had finally arrived to the falls. It was one of Swanflight's favorite spots to visit and she couldn't help stopping for a moment to admire the white, foaming water cascading down into the large pool below. Glancing down, she spotted a few decent sized fish swimming about casually and turned to the other two. "Do you guys wanna stop and eat for a bit? I don't think I saw either of you grab anything to eat before we left." She mewed. Obvious concern for her Clanmates in her voice.

Ashenthroat purred. "Sure, lets stop for a quick fish. But shouldn't we save it and take it back to camp?" she asked, not wanting to disobey the warrior code. But she was happy to change the subject from dangers to hunting.

The she-cat spoke softly to her apprentice, before looking at the herbs piles that were low. "I think we will be needing more Horsetail, and Watermint. Do you, remember what they are used for?" She meowed.

"Going alone would be a problem, what if there was a pack of rouges? Or a Fox? You shouldn't run or else I'd find its way to camp." She sighed at her apprentices comment. Dawnfire padded ahead of him till they reached a river, she sat down and looked over at Emberpaw. "An easy way to catch fish is when they are by the edges of the rivers, Sometimes there are plants that grow by the edges in the river." She looked over to a fish swimming back in forth while two others swam by. She unsheathed her paw and struck the fish out of the water, landing by Emberpaw. "Careful, because they jump out of the water." Dawnfire meowed.
