the brown tom silently lay in the warrior's den, his tail curled, tightly around his muscular build. rumbleclaw's golden eyes opened, stepping out of the den, stretching his limbs out, his lips parting in a yawn. as he looked around, his eyes landed on the fresh-kill pile. he huffed, noticing it was a bit short on prey. his ears were up tall, trying to see if anyone was going to set out on a hunting patrol. rumbleclaw flicked his long, brown tail.

the white feline was silent for a short moment, ears pressing up as rosepaw questioned her. the she-cat sighed softly, looking to rosepaw. "i was watching riverfrost and sunkit.. made me miss my mom." she explained. "sinkit will have riverfrost there when she becomes an apprentice, and then a warrior. my mom hasn't seen anything." the white apprentice said, softly, looking to the mouse in her paws. "i guess i'm just kinda upset about not seeing her for almost 8 moons." dewpaw explained.

cookie silently sat on top of her human's fence, green eyes staring into the dark abyss of the forest, tail flicking silently behind her. the she-cat was an adventurous cat, but never raked up the courage to walk into the dense trees. her ears were pricked, jumping down from the fence and slowly walking into the forest, slowly. leaves rustled, her tail quickly puffing up in fear. "h-hello?" she called out.

as she listened to dewpaw, her eyes softened and her tail instinctively
curled around her. "dewpaw, you know your mother wanted the best
for you. if she were here, she would be booming with pride." her tone
became sympathetic as she continued. "you know, once we become
warriors, and we go back to the twoleg place, you might be able to see
her again."

the apprentice pressed her ears back, "it's not even just about her being proud, it's just her being here in general to help me learn to be a warrior, to talk about toms with, just.. ugh, i don't know. when i'm a warrior, not much will matter anymore." the usual bouncy she-cat was all of a sudden broken. "anyways, enough about me.. how are you two doing?" she questioned, looking to the two apprentices.

I lick the remainder of the pigeon from my jaws. "im fine. Just kinda tired." Almost on que, my jaws widen into a large yawn. I use my paw to swipe the scattered feathers into a neat pile, Hoping to give them to Sunkit for her mothers nest.
