The tabby watched Quietrain's retreating figure curiously. He had said that he could get an apprentice to do that. With a shrug, Fogstar turned back towards Tawnythorn and offered her a smile. "Indeed we are. Without a skilled medicine cat like her, our clan probably wouldn't have recovered from that fox attack," he mewed, but his smile faded at the thought of the foxes that had killed Juniperstar. He stopped himself from shuddering in front of the queen and her kits before bending down to touch noses with Creekkit and Lilykit in greeting. "Shall I accompany you all back to the nursery?" he asked Creekkit. "You deserve a treat for being so brave. Why don't we get you settled in a nest and I'll bring you all a mouse to share?"

( okay so Fogstar was crushing on Juniperstar when she passed away, so he gets sad every time he thinks of her ))

"Y-you promise...?" He attempted to stop his tail from shaking, much to his distress, it got worse. And he huffef, sitting down.

"I promise." Quietrain said. Her appearance probably wasn't helping the tom with her tangled fur and tired eyes. "Now, what might your name be? I'm not sure why you're in thisbpart of the forest." The medicine cat sat down a tail length away.

"M-my names N-Nervis. And I'm kinda l-lost." He looked around before lowering his ears against his head. Jumping as yet another bird let out an alarm call.

Quietrain smiled and meowed,"I'm Quietrain. Do you live by yourself, or with Twolegs?" She wanted to pull a bit of information out of the tom, and try and make him a bit less jumpy.

"I l-live by myself... in an abandoned human place." He closed his eyes and breathed in deeply, his jitteriness going away a little bit.

Creekkit smiled happily,"Yes please!"He mewed, his grey gaze glowing excitedly. He glanced over at Lilykit to see that she looked happy at the thought to.

Tawnythorn smiled at Fogstar," That would be kind of you Fogstar."She mewewed lightly, the mention of the fox attack filling her with sadness, her mate had died not long after the fox attack, she quickly hid her feelings behind a smile though not wanting to worry her kits.

Quietrain thought for a moment. Chances are the tom wouldn't be able to find his way back, and she didn't know her way around the Twoleg place. "Well...if you want, you could come to camo with me. You see, I live with a whole bunch of cats, and we make up Brookclan." She stood up. "It's safe there and perhaps we can get you home another day." It saddened her that the tom lived alone. No cat deserved that.

His eyes widened. "I-i don't like large groups of cats..." his jitteriness returned as he looked around wildly, unable to remember where he had come from. Then he sighed, "A-alright."

Hoping that Tawnythorn wouldn't mind, Fogstar pick Creekkit up gingerly by his scruff. "Let's keep you off that paw," he mumbled through the kit's fur. color=#0080BF]"Wouldn't want a future warrior of BrookClan to be injured now would we."[/color] He made quick eye contact with the kit's mother to let her know that he was moving Creekkit to the nursery before ducking out of the medicine cat's den, through the roots of the oak tree that acted as the home of the den. The tabby leader padded slowly towards the nursery with Creekkit in hand all the while making sure the said kit was comfortable.

The moment the two made it to the nursery, Fogstar set the tom kit down on the softest nest in the den. "Alright I'll give the bravest tomcat a choice" he pretended to scan the nursery before eyeing Creekkit. "Now that would be you wouldn't it, Creekkit? So, mouse or vole for your prize?"
