Scrunching his nose slightly, the long-haired tom is awakened by the glaring sunshine seeping through the entrance to the warrior's den and onto his face. At first Frostwhisker simply slicked his ears and tried to ignore it, but suddenly the thought crossed his mind that if the sun was high enough to reach the den, he must have slept in. He jolted to his feet and burst from the den in a flurry of paws, his pelt messy and matted with bits of moss. After recovering from his own panic, though, Frostwhisker quickly realized that everyone was still in camp and had been peacefully milling around until he had come crashing into the clearing. Blushing deeply beneath his fur, the tom quickly turned tail and trotted to the edge of the clearing, huddling near the wall of camp to hide his embarrassment in the shadows.

Robinpaw awoke in her nest, from the bright morning sun shining on her face. Ugh, she thought, hating having to wake up every Sun-Up. She preferred to sleep. Just... sleep. She yawned, forcing herself to stand up. Despite not wanting to, she had a day in front of her. A day of training, hunting, and obeying Warriors. She couldn't wait 'till the moment when she was in charge. Robinpaw took a step out of her nest, and arched her back in her daily morning stretches. Dark grey-blue eyes narrowed against the bright sun, she padded outside of the cave which was the Apprentice's den. She hopped delicately along the path of stones that stuck out of the water. With a few hops, she was in the camp.

Ebonystalk was coming back to camp from a solo Dawn Patrol. He was just renewing the LightningClan border, and checking for any suspicious scents that he could find. He had found everything was normal, and returned back to camp. As he came through the entrance, he noticed the busy silence of the camp. The cats that were awake were hustling about, and most seemed to still be sleeping even though the sun seemed to be up pretty high. He looked around the camp to see Frostwhisker standing in the shade of the camp. He didn't like talking to cats much, but Frostwhisker seemed like a Tom he could relate to. At least, from what he's seen of him. He could greet him politely and see how he reacted. Ebonystalk approached Frostwhisker, smiling halfheartedly. "Greetings," he mewed, sitting by the tom.

After his humiliating episode, Frostwhisker instinctively fluffed up his fur to physically display his discomfort as the other tom approached him. The russet feline cast a quick glance with flashing eyes towards Ebonystalk, before shifting his weight on his paws slowly and returning his gaze to the center of camp. "Hello," he mumbled, his ears and whiskers twitching nervously.
