Lionstar looked at the Tom and suppressed a sigh. "So what do you think we should do about the stormclan scent on our side of the border?" He asked. "I've told dappledhearts patrol to keep an eye out for more scent and let me know if they find any."

Kestrelfire shook his head, "I haven't run into any cats across the border but the scents are moving closer to camp and they are always fresh. However, there hasn't been a lack of prey near the river so I don't think that's why they're crossing." His uninjured ear flicked forward, "I think we should set more patrols to cover that area if we can spare the warriors. If we can locate where the scents are the strongest and most common, we may be able to discover what they're truly doing without having any bloodshed." The red tom's tail curled over his side, "but if they are planning something, I fear we may have a war on our paws."

Lionstar shook out his fur, hiding a shudder. "I suppose." He murmured. "If we keep catching scent on our side of the border, I will take a couple of warriors with me and address Swiftstar." The leader looked around the camp, shaking his head again against the warm Rays of the sun.

Kestrelfire nodded, it was probably best they speak directly to the Stormclan leader if the problem persists. He kneaded the ground with his paws, curiosity pricking at his mind, had the dawn patrols scented anything?
