He allowed the Tom to knock him to the ground, as KoiTail had just pawed and thrown the cat into the dirt.

Claw hissed and glared at the tom. "You fight fair, I respect that but out here when you have to only rely on yourself, fair doesn't keep you alive," Claw growled. "Remember this teaching by me and continue on, you have proven to me that you will stand up to those who challenge you. In my eyes, that is more respectable than fighting to the death," Claw stepped off of him and looked at Silver.
"Don't ever expect me to let another off so easily," and he walked off.
"Thank goodness that went over well," Silver mewed going over to the tom

He nodded thankfully at the Tom, yet diddnt let his guard down as he stood up. He shook his pelt and went back to join silver. He licked his paw and rubbed it over his ear. As he brought his paw back the was a small bit of blood.

He shrugged,
"Must've been when I fell back." He said calmly, not wanting to blame Claw.

Silver smiled and touched noses with him. "Come on, I promised to show you the farm, now that Claw will allow you in his territory we don't need to slink around,"

"What causes him to get so riled up? Is he protective over you?

"Claw is actually my uncle but not by blood. He took me in when I was just a kit. He doesn't like to let me get into trouble and tries his best to keep any kind of danger out of the territory to keep me safe. The fact that he let you off like that without so much as a scratch shows that he likes you.
