She slithered into the shadows quieter than a mouse yawning licking her lips from the blood that lingered on the from the prey silently deciding to take a nap she curled into a ball her eyelids drooping sleepily.

Ginger accedently padded into ice clan territory,his dark ginger fur standing out.

Creeksight slid into camp with the three mice, one of which was Foxpaw's, in her maw. She shook her thick creamy-grey coat and promptly dropped the catches on the fresh-kill pile with a satisfied flick of her tail. Then she withdrew, wrinkling her nose in thought as she moved away. The warrior sat down and licked her muzzle. She'd eat in a bit. She was thinking of bringing Foxpaw out for battle training in the evening, but for now she'd give the apprentice--and herself--a bit of a rest.

Wasppaw stirred and lifted his head, blinking up at a ginger apprentice. Stifling a yawn, he smiled at her in his usual friendly way. "Hi Foxpaw!" he chirruped in return, slowly sitting up so he could better face her. "Have a good patrol?" he asked curiously, not envious at all. He guessed it would be time for him and Snowstar to go battle-train soon, so he was content to wait for that.

Foxpaw twitched her tail. "It was pretty great. I kept messing up in the hunts though." She admitted, embarrassed at her own failures. "I did catch a mouse though. It's certainly a start!" She quipped, zealous. She stopped short to scratch her ear, then lowered herself gracefully into a good stretch. "How-" She yawned. "-was camp?"

He nodded warmly, eyes bright. "Yeah. I bet you'll be a fantastic hunter!" he mewed, flicking his ears a little. Wasppaw straightened and flexed his paws against the hard packed soil. At Foxpaw's query he leaned to the side with a nonchalant shrug. "Oh, it was fine. I napped, for lack of better things to do. But Snowstar said he'll take me battle-training soon, so I'll get to do something productive." The brown tabby grinned at her.

"That's awesome!" Her eyes shone. "I don't know what I'm doing next. But I bet we'll be really good fighters!" The skinny she-cat hopped into the air, dropping into a crouch as she landed, then pounced on a leaf, flinging it into the air, catching it again, and battering it with her hind paws. "Raawh!" She growled, tossing the half shredded leaf away. "Ha! I showed that leaf!" She made a face at her "prey" as it skidded across camp with the breeze.

Wasppaw twitched the tip of his tail and blinked at her. Then he bobbed his head in agreement. The tom's eyes followed her as she bounced and attacked a leaf, alight with amusement. He dropped his head and flicked his tail again, itching to join in and play. "You sure did!" he purred, kneading his paws lightly. He dabbed a paw out at another leaf, lying still nearby. The tom waggled his haunches and then pounced on it. "They'll be no leaves left once we're done with them!" he laughed, grinding his leaf into the ground beneath one forepaw.

Foxpaw laughed. "There sure won't!" She attacked another one like an overexcited kit. She batted it too hard and it sailed over to Wasppaw. "Get it Wasppaw!" She cheered, laughing.

The tom flicked his tail over his back and kicked the leaf he'd caught away. Glancing towards the ginger tabby she-cat, he watched as she sent a leaf tumbling towards him. Grinning, he reared up and swatted the leaf down, ripping his claws through the thin surface. He pressed it down below his paw. "Got it!" he churred happily, sliding it aside. Wasppaw waggled his haunches and pounced forwards, sending a whole array of leaves fluttering through the air.
