She cream-colored she-cat let out a squeal when she was pounced on, her feathery tail bristling. Turning her head to look at Blackpaw, she screwed up her face in a playful scowl. "I'm not to tired, I was up before you! Now get off me before I suffocate you furball!" She snorted, but her eyes sparkled with a friendly ease. Normally, toms made her uneasy and self-conscious. But Blackpaw and Tigerpaw were around her often, so she was always at ease with them.

The fiery ginger tabby tom was curled up in a patch of meager morning light. His feathery tail was curled up over his nose in an attempt to chase away the morning chill. "Brrr. It's cold." He shuddered to himself, heaving a sigh.

The furry bicolor tabby she-cat nosed her way through the underbrush on the other side of her fence. Her heart pounded with excitement. This was the first time the kittypet had wondered into the forest. It was so exciting!

Ferretkit yawned and lifted himself out of his nest, lazily shaking scraps of moss out of his pelt. Stretching his limbs, especially one leg that had lost feeling as he was laying on it, he looked around for a cat to talk to.

"Great. I'll go get them." The dark-pelted she-cat meowed happily. "Snowbird! Redthorn!" She spotted the two warriors and beckoned them over eagerly. "Hunting patrol."

They don't need me right now. "Hey, Lionstar! Darkpaw! Can I join the patrol?" he mewed as he padded towards the leader. "I'd love a chance to stretch my legs."

The furry tom cat let out a loud grumble as he was called over by Darkpaw. "A patrol, eh? Alright, best way to get the blood flowing." He sighed to himself, heaving himself to his paws before trotting over to Lionstar and Darkpaw.

Rain || 10 moons ||
Tripping on a root, the pretty she-cat sent herself tumbling into the underbrush, landing with a dull thump. She scrambled to her paws, cursing violently. She looked down at her pelt and loosed an ear-splitting screech. "My pelt! My beautiful pelt!"

Blackpaw stuck out his tongue and reluctantly got off her. He purred at her with friendly green eyes, "What'cha feel like having? The dawn patrol came back with some fresh prey." The black tom was eager to go get his paws on some warm, juicy prey.

Lionstar nodded to his deputy, "You're welcome to join. I plan on patroling the border near the twoleg place." His eyes darkened as he recalled his dream, he'll have to consult Cottenheart about it. Blinking his eyes, he came back to the present. "Well let's get going then." He meowed and lead his patrol out of camp.

Sunkit came scampering out of the nursery. He looked excited but it quickly turned as he watched his father leave with a patrol. The golden tabby kit sighed gloomily and plopped down on his haunches looking disappointed.

Rain was cursing and growling up a storm as she trampled through the undergrowth, unaware that she was upwind to the clan cats, they'd be able to smell her from right outside camp. In fact she was oblivious to the clan cats' presence in the forest at all. "My pelt is filthy." She growled to herself.

Blackpaw bumped shoulders with her playfully. "Alright, whatever the pretty she-cat wants." The tom purred being a little flirty. He brushed past her as he headed out of the den.
