Currentstar purred and then padded to the center of the Training Area. "Okay, first you will learn how to do the.. Killing Bite. Now only do this if necessary." she warned. "All you do is bite at the back of the neck, but you have to do it quickly."

"Okay! So how do I practice it? I don't wanna hurt a clan member!" Aspenpaw said, observing the position of his mentor.

"Well, you pounce onto me and hover your jaws above the back of my neck. You don't have to actually bite." Currentstar replied.

"Alright!" Aspenpaw smiled. He was actually allowed to pounce onto the leader of the clan! Wait until the other apprentices would hear! He immediately attempted to get into position, but was thrown off of his balance and landed on the ground.

Gorepaw padded out into the sunlight with a worried Dawnpaw behind him. "Dawnpaw, you'll be fine, stop moping!"
"But what if I'm not fine?" The frantic Dawnfall was in a haze of terror, she didn't think she had what it takes to be a warrior and had the worst pain in her belly from worriedness.

"You alright Aspenpaw?" Currentstar asked. She let him lean on her to help himself get steady again, so he could try to do the move.

Amberfeather-
Amberfeather sat outside of her den, swishing her tail and purring in the sunlight. The morning patrols were all organized, and all she had left to do was wait for her new apprentice.

Aspenpaw-
"Yup, I'm fine!" Aspenpaw said, shaking his pelt. "So is it like this?' He attempted to correctly do the move.

Currentstar was ready for his move when he pounced. Usually, she would move away, but it was his first time so she didn't. "Yes, that's correct!" she purred. "Alright, next move.. do you already know any?" she prompted.

Dawnpaw cautiously padded up to Amberfeather and gulped out a, "Hi..." Then hung her head shyly.

Gorepaw looked around for Deepgaze.

"Um, I know how to hit with my front paw!" Aspenpaw lifted his head up, proud. "Want me to show ya?"

Amberfeather-
"Hello Dawnpaw. Are you ready for your first day of training?" Amberpaw said calmly, and slightly smiled. "I'm going to teach you how to hunt today."
