"What were you doing?" asked Angel lifting a brow, her ears flattening when she heard the human whistling for them. Dante didn't respond, he simply curled up, shut his eyes and went to sleep. Angel blinked, watching her brother. She felt sort of guilty, for dragging him out of his old life. But they had to do it...otherwise...otherwise they'd end up like her.

Princess sighed, glancing around the team. They were hostile towards that dog. She didn't see why. He didn't pose a threat, yet, they were so mean to him.

Ajax snarled at the dog, snorting in satisfaction when he left. "Good riddance." he grunted. Lashing his tail he stopped, his ears flattened.

Angel sighed, curling into a ball.
Glancing at her brother she blinked, wondering how he could sleep so peacefully after
everything that just happened. Not to mention what happened in these last few months.
He's lost so much, yet...he shows no pain or remorse, yet...he didn't seem to show anything anymore.
She yawned, closing her eyes as she drifted off to sleep.
Memories flooded into her mind. They began to move faster and faster in her head.
Evil cackles of triumph, dogs shrieking in pain, she twitched and groaned in her sleep,
shivering.

[Teacup-old]

[Time laps. We are now home and it's dark out.]
Ana got off the sled and began to unharness the dogs. She looked up at the sky, painted by dark blacks. She began to work faster and each time she finished one dog she sent them to the barn. This time she had started with Shark, working her way down. She was worried she couldn't finish before it got really cold and the snow turned to a snow storm tonight, she knew.

Tundra waited, sitting, to be unharnessed. She yawn, the tired setting into her eyes. She looked back at Luna, "So, Luna, do you have any friends?" she asked, trying to keep her eyes from closing completely. They were already short slits, but she hadn't wanted to fall asleep outside tonight. If there was one thing she knew, all the darkness happens after dark.

Teddy lied down, still wide awake. He looked around, seeing all the...females. He then looked at his side-by-side partner and scrambled to his feet, trying to break loose from his harness. It was a female! His face showed fear, he was once used for dog fighting and all he ever fought was females, getting beaten every time. His body began shaking, little by little.

"You afraid of girls?" Star asked Teddy with a small smile on her wolf face.

Marly lapped up some water he found in a little puddle and then sat down and satred at the sky.

Luna's smile quickly diminished. "Well. No not really. Other's may growl or snarl at me, but that's really it. Nobody has showed me kindness the way you do Tundra." she said. She hung her head in shame. A couple tears fell down her muzzle and onto the ground. "I just don't get it." she cried a bit. While she waited to be unharnessed, she looked back at Tundra. Luna's eyes were a bit red from crying. All she ever wanted was at least one friend to help her. One last tear fell from her face.

I can't believe someone is actually being nice to me. she thought. She stopped crying and the smile returned to her face. "Tundra, I would like to say thank you for taking the time to talk to me." she said.

Dante sighed, glancing at his sister as she writhed in the snow. "Nightmare again?" he thought aloud, his ears flattened. Standing up he shook his pelt, slowly walking out into the folaige of the forest. He wasn't able to sleep, he couldn't get that sled team off his mind. In particular, the intruiging fae, who's strange sadness seemed to haunt his memory.

Angel panted in her sleep, shivering. "No, no don't! Leave them alone!" she said aloud. Blood rippled in her thoughts, corpses fell to the ground, littering the place she once called home. With a scream of terror Angel's eyes burst open, she panted shaking horribly. "Just a dream." she assured herself, glancing around, "just a dream."

Sharkfang shook his fur as his harness was undone. He swished his tail and walked with Ana down the line of dogs. He glanced at each dog, making sure his team was well and fit again for tomorrow. Shark followed in step with Ana, stopping every time she did and watched as she loosened the harnesses with care. He noticed the difference between her and the other mushers, and he was sure Ana, was the right choice.

Jasper panted heavily, she was still slightly nervous from the wild dogs and the run had tired her out. She yawned, and looked at Teddy beside her. "What?" She asked lazily. "You can't tell me you're afraid of girls." She smiled with a laugh, not really beliving that this dog was afraid or didn't like females.

Luna looked back to the area where they first spotted to dogs. "I hope those dogs are okay." she said a bit worried. She didn't want them to get hurt or worse. I need to know if they are okay and if they have somewhere to stay. she thought. She looked away from the area and sighed. "I don't want to see those dogs get hurt. They might need a home." she said softly.

She looked over at Tundra and sighed. She wanted to tell her how she felt about the dogs that they saw, but didn't say a word. She sighed and looked at her paws and swished her tail around.

Luna noticed Dante was gone, but did and said nothing. He often went out on his own.
Though she longed for his presence.

Padding through the wood Dante suddenly halted, sighing. His ear twitched when he heard something
rustling close by. Trotting to some bushes he peered through, his ears pricking when he saw the sled dog teams barn.
He was tempted to canter over, just for a peak. But he resisted the temptation.
