Aolani leisurely strolled through the park with her hands in her pockets. With her small stature, she could easily be mistaken for a child. The small bell necklace she wore jingled and she instinctively raised her hand to touch it, feeling the contours and crevices of it. It meant a lot to her being as it was her grandmother's before she passed away. Aolani shut her eyes and sighed, lifting her face to the sun to revel in it's warmth.

The purple jewel-lumirett looked around gingerly. She was sitting on a oak bench, subconsciously writing verses to a poem she recently started earlier as the lined page began to fill with descriptive words. Refusing to look up as she wrote, a indescribable smile reached her face as she signed the poem and flipped the page. "Today may be a better day than I thought.." She murmured to herself at last.

Aolani pushed her hands back into her pockets and continued to walk, pushing thoughts of her grandmother to the back of her mind. Deciding she needed to sit down, she spotted a small park bench. Someone was already sitting down on it, but she hoped they didn't mind. She gently sat down and began to play with the sleeve of her shirt since it was bothering her.

Slowly turning her head, Zahkiarah spotted another lumi sitting down next to her. She immediately closed her journal. "Hello.." She murmured, shoving her journal into her patched bag and blinked at the other lumirett, watching her hands tug gently at her sleeve. "What's your name?"

Lantern sat down on an empty bench near the side of the road, and thought about what had happened minutes before when someone asked if he was blind. Others always seemed to just assume that he was and it made him feel awkward at times.

Aolani turned towards the Lumirett as she spoke to her. Her belly necklace rattled as she turned. "Oh, hi. My name's Aolani." She stopped playing with her sleeve and asked. "What's yours?" her voice came out a little louder than a whisper and she had to clear her throat. Aolani took the time before the other Lumirett answered to get a good look at her. She was the size of a normal Lumirett and again she was reminded of her petite size.
