Skyfrost exclaimed weakly " Riverfrost, your wounded badly!" Skyfrost then coughed loudly, her body shaking in the effort

"You can both go if you like," Hawkstar said. He glanced at Skyfrost when she coughed. "Hurry!"

"I'm so sorry Hawkstar, it's all my fault. I wasn't paying attention when I was hunting, and now everyone's injured." Skyfrost closed her eyes, and whispered, "I'm better off in the elders den now, out of everyone's way."

"But not as badly as you." Rivermist responded, then turned to Talontip. "Are you coming?" She asked, her green eyes looking once again calm, then faced to Skyfrost. "I think it's best to talk about it at camp, when everyone is calmed down."

Skyfrost staggered to her paws. "I can walk. It's not too far. And all this blood could attract foxes, of that badger back again." She leant on the tree trunk, a determined look in her eyes.

Talontip narrowed his eyes. "No, stay here, Skyfrost. It might be better if you stayed."
He turned and nodded to Rivermist. "Let's go."
He began to jog towards camp, but turned his head to look at Skyfrost. "We'll be back soon," he said, his amber eyes glittering with sympathy and admiration of her bravery.
"Let's go," he repeated, and began to trot once more.

Meeting Talontip's gaze she merely said "hurry back please!" Before she sunk into the ground closing her eyes to the oblivion, waiting for her Clanmates to return

Talontip raced ahead, his chest burning from the blow he had received from the badger. He was struck with determination, however. He kept checking back to see if Rivermist was still at a close distance. We're almost there... Wait for us, Skyfrost!

Rivermist nodded and followed him, looking down. While they walked to camp, she meowed, "How can things get this bad in all in one day?" She looked a bit unhappy. "I hope she recovers." The gray mottled she-cat looked up. "Sorry for giving you a hard time today." She mewed absentmindedly. She quicken her pace to get to camp faster.

Skyfrost waited, falling in and out of consciousness. She could feel herself slipping away. Hurry Talontip! she thought before she passed out again
