Look - this is something I don't want everyone in ThunderClan knowing - but, you know how I lived with Twolegs? Well, I was never a kittypet at all...I used to be a Twoleg. It's a long story - I might tell it to you sometime. And no, I'm not crazy. Just to prove it - now don't freak out." She turned into a Twoleg and grinned at Mistpaw, scratching her apprentice behind the ears. She turned back. "What do you think? See, you're not so different from most cats after all."

And don't you think I've more than proved my loyalty? I was a Twoleg, Mistpaw. A Twoleg. And I became a cat, and part of ThunderClan, of my own free will. I've been here for moons now. This was the second time I changed back. I am and always will be a member of ThunderClan, Mistpaw, no matter what I was born as. Don't you -" she spun around as she heard a voice from outside of the clearing. She scented the air. "Silverkit, come out! I know you're there!"
