Ahote shot a menacing gaze at Marly as she stood over him. If an equid's face could turn red with rage, his would be bright. He hadn't the faintest thought of how she had figured out his plan, except for maybe good memory. Well, if her smarts matched his, he'd take an alternative route. Probably the worst thing to do in such a situation, but the only thing his confused and irate brain could muster. He rolled up off his back and once more stood as tall as possible.

There was no plan to this. Intimidation was all there was. Intimidation and fear. Ahote let a crooked smile creep on to his face, opening his eyes wide with something just slight of insanity. Ahote's ears and tail swiveled back and forth vigorously; his tail made rough contact with a branch and knocked it to the ground. " And I'm sorry for how I may act..." he started up the sentence he had never finished. " ...When I become too restless. "

With that he lunged at the mare aiming just to her side on purpose. He didn't plan on hurting her right away, no. More like a predator playing with prey. He skimmed her side and landed behind her, swiveling his hooves in such a way that he faced her again. His voice was dripping with a sort of uncontrolled eeriness as he spoke again. " Because I tend to get a bit mean. "

The stallion's duranged lunge made her instinctively dodge to the side, slamming right into a tree.
He approached her again, looking as if he was going to eat her.

Her mind had escaped it's quick witts and was now flooded with fear, and her eyes gave it away.
She scrambled to her feet and tryed to run, him galloping after her. She tryed to jump the log he had knocked over with his tail.

She tripped over it, and fell on her ankle, rolling it and buckling it under her wieght. She shrieked with pain and looked back at him.
His duranged look had gone, but she wasn't falling for it.

She tryed to get up again, but the second she put any wieght on her leg, excrutiating pain shot through her body, and she squealed again, Falling down with a thud.

She didn't even want to look back at Ahote..

Her fall was enough to bring him back. He buckled his legs under him, forcing his body to a halt. The squealing noises she made brought pain to the stallion, enough so to knock him out of his deranged mindset. He trotted up to her with an anxious, worried look in his eyes. Afraid that she might still be afraid, Ahote tucked his tail down lower and pushed his ears back in a non-threatening way. His blue eyes were deep with sympathy for the mare.

" I'm sorry, " he started. Guilt filled his voice, but he couldn't manage to convey his feelings to words. " And that's why my name is Ahote. I suppose it makes little sense if you don't know what it means, the meaning is "restless one"." He paused for a moment, looking down at her leg with a gentle stare. " Can you get up at all? Or is it too painful? " Ahote shifted on his legs with concern, upset that again his more violent side had taken over.

"No, i am just screaming in pain and falling for the fun of it!" she said, pinning her ears in anger at him.
He looked away, Marly could tell he was sorry, she sighed.

"It's okay..I'm sorry.. But i can't stand."

Perkta tried to keep the grin on his face. He still wasn't used to this company and being social. Perkta noticed Aphrodite smiling next to him. He flicked his tail lightly trying not to laugh at his own awkwardness. He looked back to Kaiya, "Sounds like a good deal to me." Perkta stepped to the side and out of Kaiya's way, "Lead the way."

Still smiling, she steps aside as Perkta does. Her blue eyes look at the sky the back at Perkta, then Kaiya. Her smile brightens, she gives a slight chuckle of amusement. Her tail flicks and as Kaiya began to lead them she follows with ease. She watches her step every time watching out for the roots of the oak and pine trees that surround them, yet she was still quite swift and graceful. Her deep blue eyes gleam look curiously around their surroundings. She was making sure to scent frequently for predators and such.

She looks at Perkta the forward again. Her ears perk up at the faint sound of the river. Her ears flick back and her tail flicks slightly. Her deep blue eyes glimmer as she takes a good quick turn to look at the surrondings. She was a bit uneaqsy because as Kaiya said earlier their are wolves and other predators in these woods. She looks back forward to the direction Kaiya had decided to lead. Her ears flatten slightly.

The trio finally reached the stream, the cool water ebbed over the pretty little stones below it at a steady pace, perfect for swimming.
She smiled back at the two who trailed her
"Well here we are, Children!" She said with a grin

"One of my favorite places to hang out since i have been here, just.. Peaceful, y'know?"
She glanced at Perkta who was gazing at the sparkling water and the beautiful oak tree that hung over it, creating a lovely spot of shade,

"You guys can go on in if ya like, i think i'ma lay in the sun a bit."
She said, winking at the two

Ahote pulled back his head as she snapped at him again. But, as soon as the storm had come, it vanished. In a bout of confusion and thinking Ahote began to pace in tight circles, eventually turning back to face the mare. He had an idea, though it may not turn out to be successful. " If you can't stand, maybe I can at least move you to a more sheltered place? A cave or the such, perhaps. " Elevating his head to its peak, Ahote began to scope the forest for the shelter he had spoken of before. But just because you say something doesn't mean it will be there. In fact, things have this was of disappearing when they are needed most.

Spinning back to the mare he released a defeated sigh. " Do you know of any shelter around here? I can at least help you into a cave or something. Also, we'll need to get you standing as soon as possible. If you've broken or bruised a bone, it will heal faster while you are upright. " His blue eyes were full of worry and angst as she stood watching her.

Perkta watched his surroundings cautiously as they ventured towards the stream. His ear pricked forward listening to everything. When they reached the water he gazed out over it and back to the mares. "Kaiya this is a nice spot. Thank you for bringing us here," he smiled and nodded as she suggested they take a dip. He was feeling a bit parched again. Easing his way onwards the water his dark tail swished lazily behind him. Lowering his head his lips dipped into the water and he took a big gulp, the cool water swirling over his tongue.

She looks around it was beautiful here. Her ears perk up again to the sound of the stream. She looks around, "Wow Kaiya it's beautiful here."She said. Her eyes look up at the oak tree. Her tail flicks lightly as she walks towards the oak the gave nice spot of cool shade.
