"Alrighty!" Autumn responded excitedly. She then started to follow the warrior's trail. "Hey," she then shouted to Skylight, "What about Dragonheart? Is he coming?" she looked back at the tom and trotted over to him. She put her paw on his shoulder and glanced back at Skylight with big sad eyes.

Shadow went to the back yard when the mailman left. He jumped onto a post on the fence and looked down at the dog his owners had bought. It barked and all he did was watch it. He jumped back off the post ad muttered to himself, "Dogs are so stupid..."

Lillysong purred at the sound of birds starting to wake up. She glance around to see if any others were awake. "It's awfully quiet." she said to Silverstar with concern.

Dragonheart looked up as one of the young apprentices came over to him and put her paw on his shoulder. He then looked over at Skylight and the others. "What will she say?" he thought to himself.

Rosepaw was following close on Skylight's tail when Goldenpaw called about Dragonheart. She turned around quickly, and cocked her head to the side, staring curiously from Skylight, to Dragonheart, and back again. Dragonheart seemed like a nice tom, maybe a little troubled, but nice anyway. Rosepaw didn't want to leave Dragonheart behind. "Yeah.. can he.. come with us?" Rosepaw asked tentatively.

Skylight's tail twitched uneasily when the two young apprentices asked her about Dragonheart. True, he had stayed with them, and protected them from any apparent harm, but he was still a loner, from who knows what clan. But, Skylight supposed, they owed him some kind of favor. He could have killed the young apprentices, or abandoned them, but he didn't. Skylight wondered if maybe StarClan was testing her, what their will was. Skylight debated for just a moment, and then decided. "Dragonheart may come with us. But, he has to wait outside Thunderclan boundaries until I can appeal his case to Silverstar and the rest of the clan." With that, Skylight turned and continued onto Thunderclan.

The young tabby she-cat nodded and followed Skylight eagerly towards her new life, only after hearing about Dragonheart. That Silverstar seemed to be someone important, and she hoped someone fair too. After a couple of minutes they entered into the forest. She had never been here before, but she already liked it. Climbing, hunting, running as a cat... it was like a dream came true. She couldn't really believe it, and maybe that was why she wasn't as worried as some of the others.

The silver tabby she-cat nodded, worried. But her mind changed to another affair when she saw Lionfang. She called him with a flick of her tail and he quickly came. "Lionfang, is time for you to have another apprentice. We are so few warriors in the Clan... and the twoleg cats will be arriving soon. Would you mentor one of them?"

The golden tom nodded after thinking a bit about it. He knew it was a good idea, but it still felt strange. Twolegs turning into cats? That was a crazy idea! He also knew that her leader's decision had something to do with his past as kittypet, but he didn't say it aloud. "I will, Silverstar"
"Thank you, Lionfang. I wouldn't ask you to do it if I didn't know you will be a great mentor."

Rosepaw pranced happily through the forest. The woods.. she'd been here as a human. But everything looked so different now. It was so much clearer. The dust, sparkling like glitter through the sunlight, was so easy to see. As was the bug, on the leaf of the plant five yards away. Rosepaw could hear every crack, every step made a soft 'pat' sound on the forest covering. Rosepaw glanced around at all the other cats around her. More of them? To live in a community of cats? When, she, herself was indeed, a cat? It sounded like a grand adventure.

Skylight was in a hurry to get back to Thunderclan. The longer she stayed away from her clan grounds, the uneasier she became. Two-legs, especially adult males, were not kind to stray cats in the two-leg place. Skylight turned her head to make sure everyone was still following her. She saw the large oak marking entrance into Thunderclan about thirty yards away.

Hawkpaw was awoken by the rising sun, as well as Silverstar's words to Lionfang. The wind was blowing in his direction, and he could smell Skylight, as well as five, young female apprentices. Hawpaw wrinkled his nose. He would be the only male in the apprentice den! He didn't want to share the den with a bunch of girls. Then another scent drifted to him on the wind. An adult tom smell. Not one he recognized. Hawkpaw shook his head. He didn't think he was going to like how this turned out.

Dark padded through the forest. He still was confused, scared, and a bit annoyed at this new change in himself.
