-Buddha"Oh..okay. If that's what you'd like," he cooly meows. As Songpaw stepped off of his back, he felt the weight on his back glide off, and couldn't resist an inner sigh of relief. He arched his back and yawned, feeling a small pop in his spine. "You can lead the way if you'd like. I don't recall ever coming to this spot." He stared into Songpaw's sightless eyes, wondering what terrors she had experienced since she had become blind. What was it like? To not see your own surroundings, or know where you are stepping.
The black apprentice turned towards the direction of the source of the bubbly noises and sniffed the air. The river seemed to only be a few dozen fox-lengths away. Of course Songpaw can walk on her own to the river! How foolish of me.

❃ƝightshadeA quite deadly
she-cat, despite her
quiet demeanor. A
natural-born trouble-
maker as well.
Nightshade hissed back at the cat pursing her. She couldn't last much longer. Her leg was starting to give out on her, making her gait slow and clumsy. She needed to evade the cat or just something. Nightshade looked back to see that the cat had fallen behind. She smiled and looked forward only to stumble as her leg gave out completely. Nightshade tried to stand up but fell as her leg refused to cooperate. She hissed at the cat as it approached. The pain in her leg made her lightheaded, but she could still take this cat, right?
