Alex ran dixie around the arena. Oddly, the rottie was behaving. She smiled and kept running Dixie around the ring.

Dixie snorted, running alonside Alex. she whined a little but cut it off. she panted and her tail lolled out of her mouth.

Apollo snorted, flicking his black tail from side to side. He chewed at his bit anxiously. he pawed the ground with his lightly feathered hoof.

Hanna- Oh, it's exciting that they are coming so soon, King isn't due for another 4 months or so. You can talk to them, can't you? Just like you're talking to me! Haven't you heard me colt King?? I mean, it's hard not to hear him, he just keeps jabbering on and on!

Lark shook her head "no.... i haven't.... i haven't heard my foals either." she said, as she her tail. she swished her tail.

Hanna- Hmm... well that's rather strange. All of the mares where I used to live could hear King, and the pregnant ones can hear their own, too. Well, there's no point in teaching you now, you'll be able to talk with your foals soon enough

Lark nodded "yeah. They'll be here soon enough." she said. She was nervous about the whole thing, but she didn't let it show. The mare used to be wild, but she didn't find a mate until now. This was her first time. She flicked her tail. She felt one of yet foals kick, most likely the bigger of the two. She flicked her tail again, and tried looking out if the stall for Ace. She couldn't see him. She wondered how he and herself did.

Allyson, one of the rival riders came into the barn, snooping around. She saw lark and walked over "so your the wild mutt I heard about." she said. She looked the mare over "looks like someone needs to lay off the treats....." she added. She had her helmet still on and her crop in her hand. She turned and kept walking down the isles, looking at the horses.

Hanna- who's she?? And who is she to tell you to lay off the treats, I eat five pounds a day, you know all this isn't cuz I'm pregnant!! Oh and who's your foals' father?? I boarded at a stable a little while ago where some race horses were kept, King's sire is a direct relative of Secretariet!

Seth tacked up Thinner and made his way to the barrel arena, ready to compete. He was able to compleate his barrel patteren quickly and set one of his personal best times. Only time would tell if he placed or not.
