His clouded green eyes averted the the red tabby. "It's nice to see you too, Redfeather..." His head lowered. Something was up, not about him breaking the warrior code, but guilt floated into his eyes

Redfeather walked over and licked his ear for comfort. "Are you alright, you don't look well." She looked into his eyes and tilted her head. She was filled with concern for her leader.

He shook his head. "No..." He said, softly.

Redfeather sighed and nuzzled him, "what has gotten you down?" Her voice was soft and filled with worry. She didn't like seeing her leader sad.

"I feel like it's my fault that Oaktail is wounded. I was too stubborn to continue to tell Reedheart to warn this empty camp. There was a fox out by the border..." His eyes became even more clouded.

Nightgaze turned in Mousestar and Redfeather's direction, eavesdropping on their conversation. She wanted to talk to Redfeather.

Redfeather shook her head and licked his ear again trying to comfort him as Ashrunner took care of Oaktail. "It is not your fault. It was the foxes, and no one would have known if you came back. He fought for his clan and to protect his leader. Oaktail won't blame you for what had happened. He will heal and he will get better. Trust me." She stopped and smiled softly trying to cheer Mousestar up.

"Yes, you are," stormtail purred. No-one else was in the den, which was good. No-cat would like to come in and see two toms snuggled into each other.

The clouds in the leaders eyes dissapeared. "Yeah... It is the warrior code, as you become a warrior, you might fight with your life for your leader and Clan" He recited, looking back down at the she-cat, noticing her smile. "Would you like to come to my den so we could chat? Out of publicity?" His eyes weren't looking at Redfeather, rather at Nightgaze

Nightgaze scowled at her leader, as if saying 'I was going to talk to her...'

"Yes, you are," stormtail purred. No-one else was in the den, which was good. No-cat would like to come in and see two toms snuggled into each other.

Reedheart purred aswell," Good, otherwise I would try and grow more fur." He smiled and pressed his nose onto Stormtail's," You should consider yourself lucky." He told Stormtail softly.

Ashrunner flashed from her den and fled the camp, in pursuit of more cobwebs. There was a look of pure terror on her face.
