The feline was in a light sleep, not going through her REM yet. Her ears twitched as a voice rang throughout the camp. She drowsily lifted her head, blinking as she listened to the voice. Giving her sleeping bundle and glance, she carefully got up, making sure she didn't wake him up. The she-cat poked her head out of the nursery, not entirely sire on whether or not she should tread towards te other cats, for she hadn't been accepted into the clan. She simply crouched there, her front half sticking out if the nursery as she waited to hear what Heartstar had to say.

- - - - - Through his sleepy phase the large tom joined the rest of the clan after his chat with Heartstar. He had no idea she'd have the ceremony this late at night though knew Scarletpaw would be surprised and happy. Beaming with pride the combatant sat up tall and let his pirecing amber orbs fall on the clan as Heartstar gathered them. Scarletpaw was his first apprentice and she was about to be made warrior, well kind of, this was by far his most proudest moment.

Stormstrike lay his nest, unable to sleep. He wished he had gone to the gathering but he didn't. He heard the cats trample into camp and went out to greet them.

Foxcloud nosed Crowstar's shoulder. "Hey."

Crowstar turned hia gaze. "Hello, Foxcloud."

Scarletpaw sat down in the mix of cats. Why would Heartstar hold a meeting so late?

Hazelpaw slid out of her den. She was unaware of the meeting, as she had just fallen asleep but was quickly awoken by Heartstar's yowl.

Tigerfang sat down closer to the Highrock.

Foxcloud purred softly. "You promised me a talk."

Heartstar smiles at Scarletpaw. "Cats of DawnClan," she announced. "We have a new warrior among us! Scarletpaw, step forward!"

"I did." Crowstar meowed. He lead Foxcloud to a slightly secluded spot so they could talk in private.

Scarletpaw nearly froze. It's my ceremony? Realizing she should obey, the she cat stood up and stepped forward. The mixture of confusion and suprise now turned to excitement and happiness. Her eyes glowed as she glanced thankfully at her mentor.

(Oh, and for warrior names, mind if I give some suggestions I had in mind?
Scarletflower, Scarletflame, Scarletflare, something like that c:)

Heartstar leaps down from the Highrock to stand in front of the apprentice. "I, Heartstar, leader of DawnClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice." she announced. "She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Scarletpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Thrill flooded through Scarletpaw's body. She couldn't explain her excitement. "I do." She meowed fullheartedly, the words echoing in her head.
