Aether, Atlas, and Aceso stumbled after Yara yipping and whining in a confused manner. They had no clue where to go. A large wolf ran over and lunged and them grabbing Atals in its jaws shaking its head back and forth. Atlas shrieked and yipped in pain.

Willow looked at Rako. "Should we go back?"

Ink saw a wolf attacking Atlas and wriggled out of Yara's grip, then jumped up at the wolf and forced it to let go of the poor pup. He knocked the wolf over, but didn't do anything else...

[Solanum]

Yara plowed into the wolf, grabbing him by the neck and smashing him headfirst into a rock. "Get off them." He puffed out his chest, blood pouring from his wounds. He was severely injured, his belly and throat slit. He ripped the head off the wolf and threw it away, it's cold lifeless eyes staring into his soul.

Rako nodded and began to trot back, unaware of the danger.

Atlas squeaked and landed by his siblings shivering and huddled with them. They crawled in a shallow dip in the ground beneth a log.

Athena felt the life draining out of her she opened her eyes to see she was covered in blood and squeezed her eyes closed again.

Willow stopped him. "There's an army of wolves attacking, I saw them. We can't just go plowing through."

The Leader noticed the three pups in the dip. He approached them, smiling. "Where are your parents, little ones?"

Ink then ran over to the cliff edge, having seen Athena jumping off of it. He looked down at her in horror and forgot about his own life for a few moments. He didn't give a damn if he died. Just like his dad. The injured pup suddenly jumped off and turned in the air, using his claws to hang on to the side to slide down more slowly. Once he was near Athena, he jumped up on to the log and limped towards her with a worried look on his face. How was he going to get her off?..

[Solanum]

Yara snarled at the Leader, jumping protectively in front of the pups. "Well... I'm not their parent but I'll fight to defend them." He stuck his tongue out at the Leader, smiling.

Rako stopped, gulping. "Really? Oh dear..." He looked around, frowning. "What are we going to do?"

Willow shrugged. "Heal others?"

The Leader growled. "With your... personality, they'll be dead in a minute."

Ink mustered up all of his remaining strength and lifted Athena off of the branch that had impaled her by taking her by the scruff. He jumped down from the log and gently placed her on the ground, being careful not to hurt her as best as he could.
